Also mentioned was that The Farming classes are informed that we sell and refer to Lands in the western Territories of the United States, which possess the desirable advantages of a good climate and a fertile soil. Passengers Nos. 28-31 were named Byers and are most likely a mother with her three children. They were identified as being from Ireland and intending to live in New York. All were described as servants. Perhaps the father had travelled on ahead, though I have not yet found any trace of him. Equally he may have been a victim of the famine.
