Munich is the capital of Bavaria and a must-see for everyone who wants to get to know the south of Germany. There is no better place to experience the typical Bavarian flair and their warm character. We want to see both the historic and the contemporary side of Munich. Furthermore, we will discover its regional culinary delights and the music. Sunday 26th August We will start the day meeting at 2 pm at the hostel Munich City. There we will have a little introduction by our tour guide until 3:30 pm. The luggage will be collected and sent to the host families by Hermes/DB-Bahn Services. Aubiko will provide small backpacks for daily excursions, but please remember to bring a bag pack for your clothes and accessories for one week. In Germany many stations are without escalators and elevators. After the introduction we will continue with our sightseeing program. We will visit the old and new town hall, Stachus, Marienplatz, Odeplatz, the Frauenkirche and we will have a walk to the Viktualienmarkt. At the end we will enjoy the amazing view from St. Peter. At 6 pm we will have dinner at the Schnitzelwirt and eat the best Schnitzel in town. Monday 27th August After breakfast we go to Dachau. This was the first continuously operated concentration camp in Germany for a period of 12 years - and an estimated 41.000 victims of the German Nazi Regime were murdered there. Now Dachau is a memorial site to ensure that people will not forget. After coming back to Munich City in the late afternoon we will have a Spaziergang to the Karlsplatz, the Isator and the Hofgarten. We will also go to the English garden, including the popular surfing spot Eisbach if there is time. fax: +49 (0) 40 98672586, email: info@aubiko.de, website: www.aubiko.de

Dresden, located in the East of Germany, is the capital of Sachsen. The City is also called "Florence at the Elbe" thanks to its idyllic location on the banks of the Elbe river, and its excellent examples of Baroque architecture. Dresden is a metropolis of art and culture, it has lots of world-class museums as well as wonderful palaces, parks and gardens. Tuesday 28th August In the morning we will depart to the wonderful city Dresden. After the check-in and lunch we will have a tour through the city, visit the Frauenkirche, the Brühlsche Terasse and the Zwinger Palace, the Semperoper and the Residenzschloss and the Gläserne Manufaktur of Volkswagen. Maybe we can go to the movie night or concert at the Elbufer and enjoy the overwhelming panorama of Dresden at night. Wendsday 29th August In the morning we will visit the Elbsandsteingebirge, a low mountain range in Sachsen (Germany) and Nordböhmen (Czech Republic). It is around 700km² large and about 723 m above the sea level. It has an amazing landscape and is worth a visit. People from all over the world come here to experience the breath-taking view. It is a great opportunity to see the stunning landscape! In the afternoon we will go to Berlin.

Berlin is more than 775 years old and over the decades, all generations have left their monuments and landmarks in town. The city has a touching history, as it was separated in East and West during the Cold War. Many families were separated from each other. Today Berlin is a centre of culture, art, politics and science. Berlin s architecture, design and lifestyle are famous around the world. In Berlin we will have a cultural preperation course and lots of sightseeing as well. Thursday 30th August Our first in Berlin will be full of sightseeing. We will visit the Brandenburger Tor, the popular street Kurfürstendamm, the East Side Gallery, the Potsdamer Platz and the Berliner Fernsehturm.
