WOODS Acting County Attorney Our airport is located in the heart of a highly populated metropolitan area in which some of our residents are disturbed by aircraft noise. The airport works diligently to minimize the negative effects that may be created as a result of the airport. We have developed a Voluntary Nighttime Curfew (11:00pm-7:00am local) and Voluntary Noise Abatement Procedures to help assist pilots in reducing aircraft noise that negatively affects our community. In an ongoing effort to make our Voluntary Nighttime Curfew a success, I am asking for your assistance and cooperation. Our records indicate that your aircraft conducted one (1) operation on November 23, 2016 @ 0505 during our Voluntary Curfew Hours of 2300-0700 EST. Although the curfew is voluntary, I would like to request your support of the curfew. Enclosed for your convenience, please find copies of our two (2) new Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs). Please include the appropriate SID in your flight plan.
