Key Question: Bottom Line: Memory Verse: Bible Story: Coloring Page: Music: Who is always with you? God is always with me. God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 God gives me what I need. Manna, Quail, and Water Exodus 16:4-18, 31; 17:1-7 God gives manna to eat. Great Big God Whatever, Wherever Who Knows Best

1. Moses Says What You Need: No supplies are needed. Play Moses Says, a variation of the game Simon Says. Have the children stand facing you. Do an action such as patting your head, rubbing your tummy, or hopping on one foot. Be sure to say Moses says before doing the action. Do three or more of these actions making sure to say Moses Says before doing the action. Then mix it up and do an action without saying Moses Says beforehand. Watch for the children who do the action and then ask them to sit down. Keep playing until you have one child standing. Repeat the game until the children lose interest. (Note: Depending on the age of the children, you may not want to make somebody sit out. Instead, you could just play and all giggle together when someone messes up.) At the start of the activity: Let's play a game! Have any of you ever played the game Simon Says before? Okay, this game is just like it. This game is about using your ears to listen and follow directions. When I say Moses says, you do what I do. But If I do not say Moses says then you do not do what I do. Does everyone understand? (Pause for responses.) Great! Let's get started. At the end of the activity: You all did a great job following directions. Did you know that God gives us directions too? He does! Today in our story, we learned about how God gave people directions and what happened when they followed those directions.

2. With You What You Need: With You (from the Activity Pages on the Web site), white paper, multi-color smiley face stickers, and crayons. (Option: You may use a smiley face stamp instead of stickers.) Before the activity: Photocopy With You onto white paper for each child. During the activity: Recite the memory verse and talk about all the places God is with you. Put a smiley face sticker on each spot. Children can color their pictures, if desired. Look at all the pictures on your paper. What do you see? (Let children call out the different places.) God is with you wherever you go. God is with you when you are in your room. Put a smiley face in your room. God is with you wherever you go. God is with you when you are at the grocery store. Put a smiley face in the store. (Continue on with each picture.) God is with you wherever you go, Joshua 1:9. Who is always with you? You got it! [Bottom Line] God is ALWAYS with me!

3. My Needs What You Need: Needs (from the Activity Pages on the Web site), white cardstock, crayons, tape, and some fun music. Before the activity: Photocopy Needs onto white cardstock. (Note: If needed, make duplicate copies of the Activity Page pictures so everyone has a picture to stand on. It s okay to repeat the same pictures.) During the activity: Make a large circle on the floor with the Needs pictures. Make sure you tape them securely in place. Ask the children to each stand on a picture. Explain that, when the music plays, everyone will walk in the same direction around the circle until the music stops. When the music stops, everyone must stop and look at the picture they are standing on. Go around the circle and let each child say, God gives me (name of picture). Continue playing as long as the children are interested. At the start of the activity: I want everyone to come here and stand on one of these pictures with me. When you hear the music, I want you to walk in a circle. When the music stops, you will stop and look at the picture you are standing on. Then we will all take turns saying, God gives me... and name whatever the item is we are standing on. You ll catch on in no time. During the activity: The music stopped! Everyone, stop and look at your picture. I ll go first this time. My picture is an apple. God gives me food! (Prompt the children when it s their turn to say, God gives me... ) At the end of the activity: God knows what you need because He is always with you. Who is always with you? [Bottom Line] God is always with me.

All My Needs BINGO What You Need: BINGO sheets, 4 dice, Needs cards, bags and prizes During the activity: Have children sit together in groups of 5 to 7 children. Children will roll all 4 dice for double numbers. Once a double has been rolled, the small group leader will allow the child to pick one card out of the bag and place it on the matching square. Children will continue to roll and play until one team has BINGO! The winning team will be able to pick a prize from the prize box and a new game will start for everyone. If the winning team gets BINGO a second time the game will restart however only one prize will be awarded per team. At the end of the game if any team has not received a prize, their prizes will be given then. During the activity: As the children are playing the small group leader will say God gives me and name whatever the item is that is picked from the bag. (Prompt the children when it s their turn to say, God gives me... ) At the end of the activity: God knows what you need because He is always with you. Who is always with you? [Bottom Line] God is always with me.

All My Needs Paper Teller What You Need: paper cut in a square. During the activity, the small group leader will help each child fold their paper teller using the instructions listed below. The paper will already be cut into a square for each child. Step 1: Step 2: Step 3: Step 4: Fold all 4 corners to the center. Flip the paper around and fold up all four corners again. Fold in half so that it looks like picture. Place your fingers under the flaps and work the paper roller back and forth. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 While working the paper teller back and forth, say aloud, God is Always with You. Then choose a number and count to it moving the paper teller back and forth. Finally, pick a number and reveal where God is With You.
