Nova Scotia s Imports from Japan The value of goods imported from Japan has grown by 40% since 2014. In 2015, Nova Scotia s imported $51.6 million worth of products from Japan. Most goods imported include articles of metal or steel, mineral fuels, and plastics. Growing imports from Japan include optical fibre cables, diesel engines, seafood, tractors, and industrial equipment. These are likely goods entering Nova Scotian value chains.
