ABOUT OVERNIGHT CAMP GSOSW s overnight camps are located in unique geographic regions providing opportunities for camp-specific activities. No matter which camp location your girl chooses, all overnight camp sessions provide opportunities for your girl to focus on building skills and confidence in her areas of interest, while enjoying all that camp has to offer. While climbing the rock wall, she may be overcoming a fear and stepping out of her comfort zone. While canoeing with a new friend, she is learning about communication and teamwork. While she is participating in all the fun activities that might otherwise be out of reach in her everyday life, camp will provide her with a place all her own to gain the skills, confidence and growth experience you are hoping for. You ll be amazed by all she gains through her camp adventure! CLASSIC CAMP Classic Camp, available at all three overnight camps, is the traditional overnight camp experience! During each session, campers will enjoy a variety of activities including swimming, campfires, cookouts, paddling on the lake, games, crafts, songs and more! Each unit of girls plans their week of activities together with additional opportunities to choose activities individually. Each grade level has the opportunity to complete steps toward earning a Girl Scout badge, or even fully complete a badge! EARN BADGES Campers in grades 4 and above will also get to choose skills to focus on throughout the session. This approach allows campers to get to know their instructors, progressively build skills and gain confidence each day. The activities offered will vary by week. 11
