With its 72 acres of landscaped grounds and neo-georgian architecture, American International College is the ideal venue for corporate meetings, fundraisers, lectures, seminars, and receptions, as well as for dramatic and musical programs. In addition to multiple configurable spaces with state-of-the-art multimedia capabilities, our staff can provide logistical support and a wide range of planning services, including, but not limited to, room set-ups, technical support, catering, security, and parking. THE ESTHER B. GRISWOLD THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS The Esther B. Griswold Theatre for the Performing Arts, which opened on the AIC campus in 1984, is a state-of-theart performance and rehearsal space that is at once both expansive and intimate. The 500-seat theater area is fully wheelchair accessible and air conditioned, and is equipped with a proscenium stage, computerized lighting and sound equipment, and quality acoustics. Whether being used for large-scale business meetings, musical performances, dance recitals, lectures, or trainings, the Griswold Theatre is one of the premier event stages in the area. The spacious lobby area outside of the Griswold Theatre is also available for functions or pre- and post-event gatherings, with easy access to the Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center. THE KAREN SPRAGUE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER Adjacent to the Griswold Theatre is the Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center, a space devoted to the visual and literary arts. The Center s unique rectangular shape and vaulted skylights make it perfect for exhibitions, speaking engagements, and catered events, and its proximity to the Griswold Theatre makes the combined space one of the most versatile and expansive event accommodations in the Springfield area. The Center s main room can accommodate 135 people when arranged with tables and chairs and 289 people when empty or when configured with chairs only. Directly off the Center s main room is the Karen Sprague Boardroom, which can seat 20 people and is fully equipped with audio/visual and teleconferencing equipment. THE STINGER PUB & DINING COMMONS CONFERENCE ROOMS Located in the lower level of AIC s Dining Commons, the newly renovated Stinger Pub is the campus premier bar and restaurant venue. It offers a wide variety of domestic and imported beers, wines, and nonalcoholic beverages, as well as a selection of pub favorites, including pizza, wings, specialty flatbreads, and sandwiches. The space, which has a capacity of XX, features several wall-mounted, high definition televisions that can accommodate multiple audio/visual inputs, and DirecTV service is available, including various sports packages. Additional room-wide audio, video, and multimedia support is also available to accommodate a range of corporate or private gatherings. Adjacent to the Stinger Pub are the Dining Commons two conference rooms, both equipped with audio/ visual and teleconferencing capabilities and catering services. THE STINGER PUB SCHWARTZ CAMPUS CENTER AUDITORIUM Located on the second floor of the Schwartz Campus Center, the Schwartz Campus Center Auditorium overlooks the College s picturesque quad the heart of campus life at AIC. The room can be easily configured into multiple configurations for different functions and features a stage area with full audio/visual capabilities. From speaking engagements to award ceremonies to exercise classes, the Schwartz Campus Center Auditorium is one of the most versatile locations on campus. The room can accommodate 402 people when empty or arranged with loose chairs and 188 people when fully equipped with tables and chairs. The stage area can accommodate an additional 66 people for a possible total room capacity of 468 people. And with close access to AIC s dining services, full catering is available for all events.
