Upon investigation, it was discovered that the driver had a license status of Suspended in the Third Degree. The driver was cited and released at the scene, and the vehicle released to a licensed driver.

A victim of a vehicle prowl in Kent stated his garage door opener and registration was stolen and wanted an Officer to drive by his house to make sure his daughter was ok. Further investigation showed that the registration showed an address in Maple Valley, not Black Diamond. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that the fire appeared to be accidental in nature, however, there appeared to be evidence of timber theft in the area of the fire. Radio advised that a subject called 911 to report that a male subject stopped his vehicle in two driveways on 218th AVE SE, exited the vehicle for a few minutes, then drove away. The vehicle was described as a black Toyota pickup with a canopy. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on 218th AVE SE. Officers conducted an area check for the vehicle with negative results.
