A set time each day will be allocated for the collection of pocket money for the day. You may wish to give your son/ward some of his spending allowance for day 1 separately as well as some Sterling for use at the airport, especially if he needs to buy breakfast. The only things which are not already covered are breakfast and lunch on day 1, and lunch and dinner on day 4. From the spending money, we will take 40, 20 for the hostel s security deposit and 20 for food on the final day. This will be returned to them on check-out from the accommodation. Medication If your son/ward requires any medication during the journey, it is your responsibility to provide medication in a suitable container which is clearly labelled with his name, the name of the medication, the dosage and the frequency to be given. An adequate supply must be provided to cover the whole trip, if necessary. Please note that your son/ward is responsible for carrying his own medication. If he uses an inhaler or an Epipen, a spare must be provided to be carried by staff. Insurance There is a comprehensive insurance included in the cost of the trip but it is strongly recommended that you obtain an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card for your son/ward. This has replaced the old E111 form. If you are already in possession of an EHIC card, this needs to be given to Mr Chryssides prior to departure. When at customs or border controls pupils will be understanding of the authorities duties and act appropriately. Border controls will not tolerate any jovial behaviour or jokes regarding terrorism. 3. At the airport and when travelling around Barcelona, move around in small groups, as large groups as this can be seen as being intimidating. However, it is essential that boys do walk around in groups of 3 minimum. 4. Always be careful and considerate to others. This means no running, shouting and barging. 5. Always be courteous, polite and understanding to other people. This includes at the language school, where we expect the same standards of behaviour and attitude as we do at Isleworth & Syon. 6. Do not shout when it is unnecessary. Be quiet when a teacher, pilot, waiter etc is talking to you. 7. DO NOT drop litter at all. Do not write on walls or tables. 8. Pupils can take cameras and ipads etc. They do so at their own risk. Teachers will not be responsible for them. 9. Mobile phones are permitted on the trip but are carried entirely at the owners risk. The school accepts no responsibility for mobile phones whilst on route or at the destination. 10. No alcohol or cigarettes are to be taken on the trip or purchased at the airport or in Spain. 11. You are responsible for the reputation of Isleworth & Syon School, so please follow this code of conduct and allow everyone to enjoy the trip. 12.
