VIDEO & PHOTO SHOOTS COGNACQ-JAY MUSEUM TH A TASTE OF THE 18 CENTURY
THE COGNACQ-JAY MUSEUM A TASTE OF THE 18 TH CENTURY Nested at the heart of the Marais, a trendy historical area in Paris, the Cognacq-Jay museum presents the collection of 18 th century artworks gathered by Ernest Cognacq, founder of the once famous departement store La Samaritaine, and his wife Marie-Louise Jaÿ. The collection showcases a wide range of paintings and sculptures from masters of the 18 th century such as Boucher, Fragonard, Canaletto and Chardin, as well as precious pieces of furniture and artefacts.
