Travel details 2 nd - 6 th July 2018 Gather by the bus turning circle at 7.15am on Monday 2nd July (please don t block the bus turning circle). The coach must leave at 7.30am. OUT: We fly on Monday 2nd July on Icelandair Flight FI 441 which departs 13.05 from Manchester, arrives Keflavik 14.50 RETURN: 2.45 min flight We return on Friday 6th July on Icelandair flight FI 440 which departs Keflavik at 08:00 and arrives at Manchester at 11:35am, arriving back in Lichfield around 2pm.

Icelandic pool and spa etiquette Remove outdoor footwear before entering changing rooms It is normal practice for Icelanders to shower and clean all body parts before and after entering the pools without costumes. Diagrams to this effect are found in most changing rooms... there are dispensers of shampoo/soap on the walls Students should choose buddies to look out for each other in the pools. No diving/bombing etc. Only use the slides if and when the group has been given permission Don t spend too long in the hot pools as it may make you feel unwell Please indicate permission for swimming on the blue behaviour form

Health and safety A well-disciplined group is essential for everyone s safety and enjoyment You will be registered in groups of 10 which will be assigned to a specific teacher We will go through the specific risks involved at the locations that we visit each day Emergency contact details supplied on itinerary/kit list sheet People simply need to be thoughtful, think ahead and not be rash Please take your keyring whilst travelling and on all excursions. Please read and sign the behaviour agreement (blue form) and hand back to a teacher at the end
