PUERTO PRINCESA AIRPORT The new terminal was inaugurated in May 2017. It is among the 8 Philippine Airports that manages to earn the On-Time Performance (OTP) Star Ratings for airlines and airport according to the 2016-2017 Official Aviation Guide.
UPGRADE OF REGIONAL AIRPORTS Expansion and improvement projects in Bacolod (Silay) Airport, Davao International Airport, Iloilo Airport, and Laguindingan Airport are ongoing.
NIGHT-RATING OF AIRPORTS Naga, Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Dipolog, Cotabato, Pagadian and Ozamiz Eight airports are being equipped with night-landing capabilities. This means domestic flights departing NAIA do not have to be crammed during day time.
CNS/ATM PROJECT Communications Navigation Surveillance / Air Traffic Management system or the CNS-ATM will ensure a safer and more efficient traffic flow management. 10 additional radars were also installed to cover the Philippine airspace. This will be fully-operational on December 2017.
The target completion of the training center is on 2021. Partially operation: entails the operation of training center, and three stations, namely: Quirino Highway, Tandang Sora and North Avenue.
