City of Solvang SUNNY FIELDS SPUR TRAIL STUDY project description The City of Solvang, in partnership with the County of Santa Barbara Public Works Department, is developing an alignment study for a proposed Spur Trail, to connect the existing bike trail along Highway 246 to and existing bike lanes along. project overview map The spur trail has been broken up into three alignment segments, each having various alternatives. The segments are Creek Crossing (C), Neighborhood (B), and Connection (P). The relationship of the proposed alignments can be seen below in the overview map, and detailed maps and descriptions of the alignments are in the following pages. Creek Crossing Alternatives crosses Alamo Pintado Creek near Alamo Pintado Rd. A bridge will be required across the creek which will land near the entrance to the Alamo Pintado Village Townhomes residential community.
