Policy Goals for Parks Housing Opportunity Areas to provide neighborhood parks New parks should be within 1000 feet of new residential projects Projects over 15 acres shall provide parklands Neighborhood Parks 3 acres min. The Policy recognized the need for community parks and recreational facilities Parks should connect to Trails Creation of Urban Plaza / Park Implementation is under the City Parkland Dedication (PDO) and Park Impact Ordinances (PIO)
