Officer/Club Name VP of Clubs: Shawn Report Shawn will update everyone next week on their club budgets. VP of Student Life: Rosa VP of Marketing: Kaila Update from Toni: They have been busy at work planning a baile on November 9, 2018, in the Student Dining Commons, it will be from 7-10pm, she will be asking the body for money to help pay for live performers. La Agencia is who they re hoping will play. This is another fundraising opportunity, Our house Club will be selling tacos, but other clubs can join as well. Kaila will get a list of committees that need positions filled. This is a great way to have student input on issues regarding what s going on on campus. Next week is Halloween, the Cinema Series is showing the film Halloween and the cinematographer (Dean Cundey) who worked on Halloween will be there that night. Kaila encourages you to dress up and hopefully there will be a club as well. Tonight s movie is The Brand New Testament. National Society of Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi): Jared NSLS thought Dia de los muertos went great. The club did very well with their fundraising. Both of the past two speakers at Our House have been great. The last one is Grant on November 7 at 4:00pm in the Success Center. The last two broadcasts and SNT meetings will have Carla and Dr. Oz. Jared recommends everyone come visit NSLS for these two speakers as they have been excellent. Friday, November 2 nd is the next SNT/Rebroadcast meeting at 4:00pm in PC 1101. Petaluma Communications Club: Amanda Still getting prepped for the next meeting in November. They are probably going to do a conversation with club members about last minute To-Dos for transfer (transfer requirements etc, it s possible someone from the transfer center will attend).

Petaluma Bridges Club: Tristen Dia de los muertos was a big success, they have a lot of soda leftover because no one wanted soda. Now they re still talking about a field trip, they have it planned. They will have a tour through the LGBTQ+ History museum in San Frnacisco. They are working on planning an event for Trans Day of remembrance for November 14 th. They will be doing an exposition in Rotary Plaza and they re inviting folks from other organizations to come in to show that there s support for those clubs. Other clubs are also welcome to table at the event. Please talk to Tristen if you re interested. Today Panella presented on the current issues from the current federal administration where they are re-defining gender to be related only to biological sex. Petaluma Investors Club: Ava Petaluma Games Club: Max Petaluma Anime Club: Edward Petaluma BBU: Vanessa/Manny Games Club is having their second Throwdown Thursday tomorrow, they re playing Super Mario Party, there will be free drinks and pizza for folks who attend. There will be enough time for everyone to play, games last forty minutes which sounds longer than it is. They also have other things happening at the same time, such as DnD. Max is working on getting movie rights for the showing in December and this is still a work in progress. Last meeting they discussed possible trips on Fridays to a museum or a movie screening. Petaluma Puente Club: Maria Dia de los muertos was excellent, they made around $200. Their next fundraiser is Monday, October 29. They re having a movie night, there s a free entry but they will be selling snacks to fundraise. They re showing The Conjuring. Petaluma Females Empowering Each Other: Araceli They participated in the Undocumented Week of Action in painting the butterfly and they fundraised for Dia de los muertos as well. This Saturday they will be going on a college tour at SJSU and meeting with students. On November 3 rd they will be attending the UC Berkeley Scholars Underground conference. Member at large: Heber

Petaluma Our House: Nath Petaluma Our House will be fundraising on November 9 at the baile, they plan on selling tacos and are still deciding on the prices. They wanted to know if folks outside of the club could help and if they could get community service hours for doing it. (Folks can definitely help out, whether or not this counts depends on what they need the community service hours for). They will also be fundraising tonight at the Cinema Series, selling popcorn and snacks. Advisor: Deborah Ziccone Thank you to everyone who was here on Saturday. It was an amazing event and was great to have everyone here. That event has grown into LumaFest so it felt really good have it so focused this year with the theme and everyone here on campus. Clubs raised $713.48 in total, great job! That will all be deposited into your accounts this week. There is a separate organization called AAUW and last year they sponsored one of our students to represent their organization at a national conference. Last year, Lena was selected to attend the conference and see Washington DC. They were going to rotate and go to SSU next year but SSU had to cancel so we will be selecting another student from SRJC Petaluma to go to the conference. This is an incredible opportunity and we highly recommend applying for it! Advisor: Toni Bacigalupa Mario Kart 8 Championships happening in the Dining Commons at 4pm. It will return in the Spring hopefully with Volleyball. V. Old Business: VI. New Business: A. A motion may come forward to LEAD/FOLLOW-THROUGH: AMOUNT: Up to MOTION: SECOND: BUDGET LINE ITEM:
