NORTHWEST APOSTOLIC FAMILY CAMP Camp Guidelines 1. Teen boys and girls will not be permitted to sit together during class time or evening services. 2. All visitors and campers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 3. No Generators are to run after 11:00 p.m. 4. Pet Policy a) No pets in Cabins b) Pets allowed in RV s a. Must be on leash when outside of RV b. Must clean up pet waste at time of elimination 5. No tobacco, alcohol, recreational drugs, or marijuana are permitted on the campground at any time. DRESS GUIDELINES: Dress Standards for All Campers: Apostolic standards of dress are required. In any question that should arise as to standards of dress, the judgment of the camp staff must be followed in all cases. Dress Standards for Ladies: 1. Modest blouse that covers the elbow. 2. Skirts below the knee (all slits below the bend of the knee.) 3. To present a modest appearance always, full skirt during recreation requiring such. 4. No split skirts. 5. No Makeup, jewelry or colored hair. 6. No wild styles or gang related clothing. 7. NO SLITS OF ANY KIND CAN BE WORN ON THE PLATFORM. Dress Standards for Gentlemen: 1. No tank tops or open shirts; shirt sleeves must cover the elbow. 2. Full length pants. 3. No long hair, facial hair or mustaches; hair must be off the collar and above the ears and follow the natural hairline. No design haircuts. 4. No tight sweat pants or skinny jeans. 5. NORTHWEST APOSTOLIC FAMILY CAMP Lodging Descriptions RUSTIC CABINS Browns Cabin, Denny Cabin, and Aunt Delaine Cabin These are two-level furnished log cabins bringing all of the charm of yesteryear to your getaway. Heated with wood we provide for you, these cabins have a comfy living room area, and ample space with table and chairs. These cabins do not have kitchens or bathrooms. Water is available near the bathrooms. They do have electric lights, low power electricity, and feature a small motel-sized refrigerator and microwave. The sleeping areas have newer, comfortable beds in twin, double and queen sizes. There is also room for placing additional sleeping bags about the cabin as desired. Located next to these three cabins is a two-room outhouse. For all cabins, bring your own bedding or there will be additional charges. All cabins are to be cleaned before departure. Browns Cabin Our largest improved rustic log cabin with sleeping for eight persons on two levels. Sleeping areas upstairs and downstairs. Now featuring a queen and double bed downstairs. Includes living area, table and chairs, microwave and small refrigerator. Heats with wood we provide. This cabin has two queen/doubles and one couch on the main floor and four twin beds in the loft. Denny Cabin A delightful two-story log cabin featuring sleeping for eight persons; four upstairs and four downstairs. Now featuring a queen and double bed downstairs. It has a living area, table and chairs, microwave and small refrigerator. Heats with wood we provide. This cabin has two queen/double and two couches on the main floor and four twin beds in the loft. 5
Aunt Delaine Cabin A 'Little House on the Prairie' cabin featuring a loft overhead for extra sleeping. Open living area with sitting area, table and chairs, microwave and small frig. This cabin sleeps 6 on the main floor (2 bunks and 2 queen/double). In the loft there is room form a number of older children (not recommended for small children). It is listed as sleeping a total of 10 but more can fit in if necessary. Chetwood Cabin Chetwood is a historic cabin transplanted from the Eagle Cap Wilderness. It is our most secluded cabin. As a favorite of many of our guests, it is situated directly across from our two-acre fishing pond. It is the furthest cabin from the main camping area. This cabin has no electricity, and no kitchen; features a large wood stove suitable for heating your hot water for coffee or tea. Sleeps 5/6 with a queen futon, double bed, and three twin beds. Has an adjacent outdoor toilet-building (outhouse). Heats with wood we provide you. Hot showers and a laundry facility are within walking or driving distance. Bring lanterns and flashlights to this cabin, as Chetwood does not have electric power. Pine Creek Cabin, The Honeymoon Cabin This secluded one-room log cabin is ideal for couples or for personal retreats. Located on a hillside overlooking our two-acre lake. Cozy up in front of the wood stove with a steamy hot cup of cocoa for those chilly nights. Breathe in the fresh pine air from your full front balcony and watch the deer and elk cross in front of the cabin from your doorway. Pine Creek features a comfortable queen bed, love seat, recliner, table and chairs. Heats with wood we provide for you. Brand-new, heated bathrooms, hot showers and a laundry facility are a short walk away. Outdoor toilet building (outhouse) right outside. Bring lanterns and flashlights to this cabin, as Pine Creek does not have electric power. This cabin has a STEEP trail to it. 6
FULL SERVICE CABIN For all cabins, bring your own bedding or there will be additional charges. All cabins and dishes are to be cleaned before departure. Bear Creek Lodge This cabin offers the nostalgic feeling of the Old West, with vaulted ceilings and open spaces to enjoy the comfort that a warm wood stove provides. Bear Creek Lodge features four bedrooms; two upstairs and two downstairs. The Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig and regular coffee makers, toaster, crock pot and service for twelve. Also features a full bathroom. Bed sizes are one queen, 2 doubles, seven twins, and one queen hide-a-bed. Room 1A = (downstairs) 1 double and one small couch private room Room 1B = (downstairs) 1 queen and 1 roll-away Room 2C = (upstairs) 1 double with 1 twin bunk and 1 twin bed Room 2D = (upstairs) 1 twin bed and a 2 twin bunk REMEMBER there is only one bathroom in this Cabin TRAILER/CAMPER FULL HOOK-UP CAMP SITES 18 Full hook-ups (sewer, water, and 30-amp electricity) sites available (some pull-thru). Please include trailer length with registration. DRY CAMPSITES (TENT, TRAILER, OR CAMPER) Campsites include heated restrooms and hot showers (limited number) conveniently located opposite the Mountain Cottage. Campfires will most likely NOT be allowed. Please bring camp stoves, BBQ s, lanterns, water, flashlights, chairs and tables, and any other items needed. There is NO store on campus. Laundry facility available for an added fee per wash and dry.
