Direct Information From Calypso on Friday, October 6, 2017: o By now, you've likely seen that the port at Blowing Point has been demolished. We are operating from the police building in Blowing Point. The port on the Dutch side where we operated from is no longer there. Calypso is now operating from the dock by the police station in SXM, by the bridge at Simpson Bay (where the boats operated from years ago). o The situation in Anguilla is very much a day-to-day one as everyone and their businesses adjust to a "new normal". o Here's the latest as of tonight via the Calypso Charters Anguilla facebook page, though we expect it to change early next week, assuming the incoming flights that are supposedly added actually happen!: o At the moment, we're authorized to run 2 boats in both directions, Monday-Saturday. We expect that we'll have more boats authorized beginning next week when SXM is supposed to be allowing a few major flights in. As of today, this is the schedule we are authorized to operate: To SXM: 9:45 am & 11:30 am To AXA: 10:30 am & 2:45 am Cost is $65USD pp, cash only, walk up only. We have plenty of boats so if one time fills, we can start a second boat. Please arrive 30 mins before so we have time to process all the passengers. o We are operating from the Blowing Point police station and we go to the dock by the police station in SXM, near the bridge where the boats used to operate from years back. There is no port anymore at our old dock by the SXM airport. o We also expect we will be able to resume online processing and online credit cards again around Oct 10. o If you're on AXA and want to go to SXM for the day, you must return the same day on our last boat. This is per SXM. If you are in transit, you must show proof of travel plans for the same day. o We'll update you as things continue to develop. GB Ferry will start some time in November
