Mar 2019 U-2 Newsletter From Your Chapter Directors Hi Guys, What a month this has been. At our February meeting w, e told you our daughter Dawn was in the hospital with the flu, the next day she wound up in the ICU in Florence on a ventalator and it was a nightmare till she came home on Sat the 23rd. We want to thank you all for all the thoughts and prayers during this emotional time. Due to this situation we didn't make the Chili cook off at Smithfield NC C2, but we heard from our members that did make it ( Ted & Nancy and Larry & Linda) a great time was had by all. Our Feb. gathering was well attended, had 26 members and 20 visitors and 6 chapters. The NC couple of the year, James and Linda were there and welcomed our COY Larry and Linda Martin to the COY family. Thank you Larry & Linda for stepping up we know you will do a good job! A group of our members went to NC S2 gathering in Sanford we had a lot of fun as always, they really know how to have a good time. We also visited NC K2 on Sunday, had 9 members go ( Ted & Nancy, JD & Becky, Barbara & Paul, Larry and Jerry & Janet) They have a real informative meeting as always make everyone feel welcome and important. We are going to try to make NC S2 gathering on Sat but thing have been hectic with our daughter and trying to help out as much as we can with her family and her care.
