The driver was contacted and asked to secure the vehicle. 01650 03/01/2011 3:15 p.m. 1/3/2011 UWI, Mona Campus Fraud W/S/Sgt. received report from complainants of 170 Bay Farm Road that she was taken on the UWI, Mona Campus by an officer who persuaded her to come and do a medical examination for going to Canada. Both complainants were advised to visit the Organized Crime Divisiona and report the matter. 01651 04/01/2011 11:15 a.m. 4/1/2011 Gazebos at Juici Patties Other Campus Police Officer reported that several wasps and wasp nests were seen at the gazebos. An email was sent to the Estate Manager re request to have the wasps removed and the area sprayed. 01652 04/01/2011 11:33 a.m. 01653 1/4/2011 1/4/2011 4/1/2011 2:00 p.m. Bio-Technology Parking Lot Outside Main Car Park Item Found Car Keys Navy Blue Hyundai motor car was seen with its' front right window open. Security Officer reported that a Mitsubishi care key on a key ring with a 4 gig HP thumb drive and alarm was found outside the Main Car Park - behind Mary Seacole Hall. The Courtesy Officer and the Campus Police Officer assigned to that location was informed. Checks were made and it was found that the keys belonged to a vehicle that was parked in the Main Car Park. The Response Team was called and the keys handed over.

Nothing of value was seen inside the vehicle. White Townace Noah motor bus was seen with its' two front windows open. Security Officer received report from a complainant that her BlackBerry Cell Phone was stolen. A search was conducted but the phone was not found. Security Officer reported that a 5 year old boy was seen walking along the Queensway. He was picked up and taken to the Mona Police Station. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and asked to secure the vehicle. An Advisory was left on the vehicle. The vehicle was secured by the Officer. The Security Officer suggested that she searched her vehicle. This was done and the cell phone was found in the vehicle. His parents were contacted. His father is an employee of the UWI.

Bags were seen on the back seat. Security Officer reported that a Black Honda CRV was seen with its' left back window down. A baby car seat was seen in the vehicle. The matter was reported at the Security Base and the vehicle was secured by the Security Officer. Two Contables were dispatched to warn the accused not to carry out his threat. 01663 11/01/2011 1:30 p.m. between 14/12/2010 & 17/122/2010 Dept. of Microbiology Simple Larceny Inspector of the Mona Police received report that a Dell Desktop computer, a white and grey tea kettle and a white and grey extension cord was stolen from the Seminar Room and the Pantry respectively. The items were discovered missing after a staff party that was held at the location on December 16, 2010. SPL. Inspec. visited the Dept. and collected interviews from some of the employees.

(Period January 9 to 15, 2011) Commander of the Mona Police Post reported that a suspect was convicted in the HWT RM Court on 01/11/2011. 01664 01648 1/11/2011 1/11/2011 Half Way Tree RM Court Conviction for Praedial Larceny The accused was accosted and a bag he was carrying was searched by Security Officer and 13 dozen ackees found. He was taken to the Mona Police Station where he was arrested and charged. Special Commendation to the Security Officer for his vigilance and apprehension.. 01665 14/01/2011 12:20 p.m. 1/14/2011 Main Car Park s Security Officer reported that a Blue Suzuki Baleno motor car was seen with its' left back window down. When he returned on Monday Jan. 17 at about 12:00 p.m. he found that the padlock for the grill was missing and that the door stop was partially removed. The Mona Police were notified. Checks were made of the area. 1/19/2011 1/19/2011 20/01/2011 8:54 a.m. Along the Ring Road vicinity of the intersection at Nassau Road 1/20/2011 Bio-Tech Parking Lot Traffic Breach Campus Police reported that the driver of a White Toyota Hiace motor bus parked the bus less than 20 ft from the pedestrian crossing in a manner that was likely to obstruct traffic. White Mitsubishi Lancer motor car was seen with its' rear left window down. A red notebook was seen inside. He was informed of the breach and asked to remove the vehicle. He was also issued with a warning notice. The owner was contacted and came an secured the vehicle. 21/01/2011 2:10 p.m. Source: Report Sheets 1/21/2011 Student Union Lost Item Cell Phone Security Supervisor received report from complainant that while he was at the Students Union having a drink when he discovered his cell phone missing. A search was conducted by security personnel and the phone was found.

The vehicle was locked up. Security Officer reported that a Silver Honda motor car was seen with its back left window half way down. S/Cons. received report from a UWI student that he left his Black Acer 15" laptop on his bed in his room and went outside. When he returned the laptop was discovered missing. Spl. Cons. received report from a complainant that she was reversing into a parking space at the Parking Lot while the accused was driving into the same space. Both vehicles colided. Security Officer reported that the driver of a Silver Honda motor car hit the left side of a White Motor Truck. The ticket was secured by the Officer. The vehicle was secured by the Security Officer. A statement was taken and a CR receipt was issued. Statements were collected from both parties and a CRIO was issued. Both parties were asked to go to the Mona Police Station where statements were collected.

Upon his return to work the next day he found that the bolts were unlocked. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was missing. White Hinda Aria motor car was found with An entry was made in the Diary at the Campus Police Post at 8 West Road. The Security Officer on duty at the location was informed. its rear left window open. Black Suzuki Swift motor car was seen with An Advisory was left in the vehicle. Campus Police Officer reported that two students were involved in a fight. An Advisory was issued. The vehicle was secured. The Student Courtesy Officer on duty at the location was informed. Both students were taken to the Mona Police Station for processing.
