Day 1 - Jan 21st Fly to the Delhi International Airport, where we will greet and transfer you to the grand, Imperial Hotel. At 7:30PM we will gather for dinner in the hotel's restaurant 1911. Day 2 - Jan 22nd After a lavish buffet breakfast at 1911 we will board our private coach for a full day of sightseeing around Delhi, including visits to Humayan s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Day 3 - Jan 23rd This morning we will take an eastbound flight to Khajuraho, settle into The Lalit Khajuraho, and get ready for a full day of sightseeing the following day.
Day 4 Day - Jan 4 24th Today we visit the Khajuraho Group of Monuments, a group of exquisitely carved Hindu and Jain temples in Madhya Pradesh. In the evening we will see a sound and light show at the temple complex. Day 5 - Jan 25th After breakfast we'll depart for the fort town of Orcha. The journey will bring us through bucolic rural countryside. At dusk we transfer l to Jahnsi Station where we will board the Shatabdi Express train to Agra. Day 6 - Jan 26th We depart early for a dawn visit to the Taj Mahal. Sunrise is the best time to see this iconic Indian landmark. After the tour we will return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we depart for the Red Fort, which was the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty emperors until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Next we head to Fatehpur Sikri, a walled city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the best preserved examples of Mughal architecture in India.

Day 8 - Jan 28th This day will be filled with sightseeing around Jaipur. First we visit the Amber Fort, an opulent palace constructed of red sandstone and marble, with many fascinating features including the mirror palace. Next we will head into downtown Jaipur to visit the Jantar Mantar, the Royal Observatory containing the world s largest sundial, the City Palace Museum, and the Hawa Mahal Palace, an extraordinary pink-painted and delicately honeycombed landmark.
Day 9 - Jan 29th Guests have the morning free to spend at their leisure. In the afternoon we'll fly to Aurangabad and check into the Vivanta by Taj Hotel. Day 10 - Jan 30th Today we tour the Ajanta Caves, a series of rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments which date from the 2nd century BCE. These incredible caves include paintings and rock cut sculptures described as among the finest surviving examples of ancient Indian art. Day 11 - Jan 31st Our day begins with a tour of the Ellora Caves, one of the largest rock-cut, monastery temple, cave complexes in the world. There are over 100 caves at the site, featuring a mix of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain artwork & monuments, including the Kailasha Temple, the largest, single, monolithic, rock excavation in the world. Following lunch, we'll visit the Daultabad Fort, then board an evening flight to Mumbai, and settle into the Taj Mahal Hotel.

Itineraries subject to change due to extreme and/or emergency circumstances including: default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of nature, acts of terrorism, war, quarantine, theft, criminal activity or any other cause beyond our control. If a tour is canceled by Special Interest Tours due to low enrollment (less than the required minimum of 10 registered guests), Special Interest Tours shall incur no liability beyond the refund of all tour guests' payments thus far received. However, if Special Interest Tours must cancel for reasons beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, disease, strikes, acts of nature, acts of terrorism or war, SIT liability shall be limited to a refund of only those portions of the tour cost, as able to be recovered from suppliers. All arrangements to transport and accommodate other services are made upon the express condition that Special Interest Tours and its agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damage, injury, or loss to person or property, accident, delay or irregularity of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond our control, including without limitation: any act or negligence or breach of contract of any third party, such as an airline, cruise line, train, hotel, restaurant, ground handler, etc., who is to or does supply any goods or services to the tour. Photo, video, and other promotional material relating to a tour may be used by Special Interest Tours for our website and additional, sponsored social media e.g.: Facebook, Instagram, Canva, and Twitter galleries, etc. All materials displaying the activity and/or likenesses of tour guests will not be sold or used outside of Special Interest Tours media. SIT Tours may be sold in conjunction with the services of any airline. The passenger tickets in use by associated carriers, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the passenger. Carriers are not responsible for any act or omission or events during the time tour guests are not aboard their conveyances.
