At present he has to complete his journey from the current

Police Matters. Twitter mentions; None -Crime statistics update April 2017 Clerk (details from www.police.uk ) figures not available yet crimes 57. To receive reports from County & District Councillors DCllr C Clarke had organised some black bags for the litter pick that she gave to Cllr Cunnington to take into school. She also reported that the bookings had opened for the SNC activity hub, which could also be booked online at http://www.southnorthants.gov.uk/holiday-activities.htm She also confirmed that there were no high-rise buildings with cladding in the South Northants area. CCllr M Clarke reported that the recent Women s Cycle Tour had been a great success. He also advised that most departments were now located at Angel Square, the new council building; the new building was projected to save 36,000 per week compared to the 12 buildings that were previously being run. Whilst parking was still a bit of an issue the new building was very modern with good ICT facilities, meaning that it was virtually paperless. 58. Chairman s Report including -Defibrillator training 26

Cllr Bailey reported that the training had been attended by approx. 40 residents and had been well received. The statistics that the East Midland Ambulance service had provided had shown the importance of the defibrillator scheme. 59. To receive update from Cllr Cunnington re website. -To receive usage figures for May Cllr Cunnington reported that there had been 743 visits in May; June s figures were not yet available. 62. Bus shelter To receive update from Clerk re progress -Update from Land registry & email sent to residents re permission to replace. It was agreed that, as the residents who own the land where the existing shelter is located, are not happy for the shelter to be moved back to allow a seat to be fitted a new location would be investigated. 63. Flood Investigation Rd Email sent to Castle Ashby Estate re drainage ditch -A response had been received from Mark Henderson the estate manager, who had referred the matter to the farm manager. It was agreed that a letter re responsibility for ditch maintenance should also be sent to Roe Farm. 64. Grass cutting contract -Clarification of contract as discussed at last meeting. -The Clerk confirmed that the contractor had been reminded that cutting should be increased to every 3 weeks during the growing season. 65. Pocket park -Update re risk assessments Cllr Biggs -It was agreed that the Clerk would try to obtain some sample assessments for the working party to use as a starting point. 28

66. Speed gathering devices -Update from Clerk -The Clerk advised that the device would cost 450 for a 2-week hire period plus the carriage costs. It was agreed that this should be installed as soon as possible. 67. Community Governance Review -Request from Brafield-On-the-Green PC to tidy up boundary but no specific suggestions as to where this would be. -It was agreed that further detail needed to be provided for any consideration to be given to this suggestion. 68. Hedge 68 Station Rd Cllr Scott -To consider contacting owner -It was agreed that a letter be sent to the residents requesting that they cutback the hedge that is causing an obstruction to the pavement. -It was also reported that the hedge at 50 Station Rd was also obstructing the footpath, it was agreed a letter should also be sent to the residents. -It was also reported that a tree was overhanging the corner of Nene Rise / Station Rd, it was agreed that this would be reported through street doctor. (Cllr Grubb to clarify exact location). & Cllr Grubb 69. Correspondence Issued Email S Mann Highways re issues raised last meeting reply received 8/6/17 An email response had been received which had advised that the surface dressing on the Billing Road had failed due to the weather, it would be repaired at the contractor s expense. It was agreed that the Clerk would report these. -Cllr Usher reported that there were several Jewson skip bags dumped in and a further one on Rd. Clerk to report. 72.
