McWane Science Center Staff can hold and use epipens and inhalers for campers and are trained in their administration. Discipline Policy In the event, disciplinary action needs to be taken (showing disrespect, keeping other campers from learning, not following rules, etc.), the following actions will be taken: 1. We ask that all cell phones be kept on silent. If you need to get a message to your child, please call 714-8300 and then dial 0. An operator will transfer your call to the appropriate staff member. To keep distractions at a minimum we do not allow parents to visit their campers in the classroom during the day. If an emergency arises and you need to get information to your child, please call 714-8300 and then press 0 for an operator. Your call can then be directed to the appropriate staff member.

Child Abuse/Neglect Reporting to DHR If child abuse or neglect is suspected, staff will immediately notify the Vice President of Education who is mandated by law to contact the Alabama Department of Human Services.
