Visitors are always welcome to attend. Monthly show and tell pictures are posted on our web site. Things are finally getting back to normal at my place. Our daughter is married and the house is quiet again. I even got back to working on my Spitfire yesterday! I want to thank Mac for taking a few notes and taking pictures at last month s meeting for me. I chickened out on making the trip due to the inclement weather up here in the far north. While it was raining in Nashua, up here it was very slick with white stuff falling on and off. A wise decision, for at 9 PM it was below freezing and our cars were covered in ice... The club received a letter of thanks from the Manchester Department of Veterans affairs for the kits that were donated at Granitecon for the Veterans Hospital. Because they were so well received, it was voted to put the box out again at this year s contest. Tom Shanahan and Chuck Van Cor volunteered to be our contacts with the hospitals again this year. As far as that neat camo box goes, it must have ended up at one of the hospitals with the kits, so next year we will need a new one. Members were joined by a couple of guests last month. Paul Campbell builds armor and other subjects when the mood strikes him. A couple of examples of his work are among the show and tell shots Mac sent me for this newsletter. A have also included a couple of Cub Scout make and take photos from the western contingent event last November. Happy faces abound.

Mac and Melinda took a ride to Concord to visit the shop that Chuck Converse mentioned a couple of months back. Steve has a small shop and carries some supplies and a few partial lines of paint. He relies on special orders for most of his business, and if you purchase or order a good amount of stuff he said he would work with you on the price. He seems to believe we are a good group and has been to and enjoyed Granitecon. We have decided to include his business in our hobby shop list to see if we can get people to check him out and perhaps convince him to support us, too. I understand Jack went there and bought some supplies and received a discount. Participating Hobby Shops These are the hobby shops that support us and our efforts year after year. They give club members discounts, provide donations for club contests, and stock the supplies and new kits we crave. Please support them, too!
