6. Countryside (6.1) All Footpaths in the Parish have all been cleared. Thanks were expressed to The Maws for their hard work. (6.2) A member of the Ramblers Association had suggested that Footpath No 5 may be affected by alterations to the electricity substation. Planning should inform the Parish Council if the footpath was affected. MW to contact Ramblers Association to find out if there were any developments. 7. Highways and LAF (7.1) JS and JH had a meeting with Rosie Taylor, Transport for Bucks,(TfB) to discuss the problem parking on Snowhill Cottages. She had suggested applying for a grant through Local Area Forum (LAF) to put yellow lines on the road. MW to contact Mark Shaw (County Councillor) to request his opinion. A meeting has been arranged with the new staff from TfB and JS, JT, MW on 27 th of September (LAT Meeting) Items to be discussed: drainage Hog Lane; pot-holes in Johns Lane; inserting white lines, Two Dells Lane; the bend Whelpley Hill; failed road surface on White Hill; Grove Lane drainage and potholes. (7.2) RW gave feedback on the LAF meeting in July. MW to circulate LAF meeting report. JS gave feedback on a recent Local Policing meeting and local crime report 8. Planning 8.1 Applications since last meeting; The Parish Council resolved to comment as recommended by the Planning committee, as summarised in the attached Planning Comments, section (a). The Parish Council decided to make no comment on applications CH/2016/0723/EU and CH/2016/1583/EU. 8.2 Applications for discussion; CH/2016/1552/FA The Parish Council had no objection. 8.3 Planning applications, permissions and refusals since last meeting; See attached Planning Comments, section (c) 8.4 Enforcement Appeals Update; See attached Planning Comments, section (d) 9. Village Matters (9.1) Parish Items and Update (a) Ashley Green Pond Cleaning. Dates for Pond clearing had been agreed with Chiltern Society; October 29 th and February 11 th. Arrangements for 29 th of October: A skip was required (JH) to arrange skip hire for the day. The hall was to be open from 10.00 1.00 am for volunteers to use facilities (RW) Wheelbarrows were required as well as volunteers.(jt) to request advert in Bulletin Chiltern Society will provide a team to supervise and advise on Health and Safety. JT to liaise with local resident for permission to site the skip on drive. JT, JH to receive skip on the day. JS will request Volunteers on Facebook Page and Website Page 3 of 6

Village Matters (continued) (b) Bowls Club. It was reported that all was now 'ready to go'. (c) Allotments. Plots 1 and 1a had been weeded and covered. Plots to be advertised...early 2017. The hedges would be cut next year. MW to inform allotment holders. (9.2) Parish Warden's report. Bark had been laid as required in the safety report. Two posts in the playground to be fixed.(tc) (9.3) Ashley Green: Concern was raised about increasing amount of dog excrement on the green. A commercial firm of dog-walkers regularly use the green; they need to be identified. Was there a rota for road sweeping/drain cleaning? To be raised at the LAT meeting. John Mayne from AGGNG had confirmed that they will pay half the cost of emptying the bin on the green. (9.4) Whelpley Hill. Concern was expressed about blocked ditches on Grove Lane and failed road surface in White Hill. To be raised at LAT meeting. Blocked ditches on private land is landowners responsibility. Complaint from resident protesting about alterations being made to the common. JS has resolved this issue. Horse manure is being dumped, which is an infringement of DEFRA. (RC) to speak to local residents. JS proposed a clearing the hedgerow on the common. (AG) to make enquiries who is responsible for the hedgerow with CDC 10. Other Business (10.1) War Memorial Maintenance company, previously used have ceased trading. Quotes for new maintenance plan to be circulated to members for consideration at next meeting. (MW). 11.
