PRESIDENT S MESSAGE FEBRUARY, 2019 February the month of LOVE, so I will get to the most important business first and that is to send love, prayers and good wishes to Bob Cesario, Justine Papineau, The Brouillette family, the Petrarca/Duquette family, Norma Sellier and Dwight Annese, James Campanini and to anyone else that is going through some of life s speedbumps this month. January is such a tough month for our elderly and those feeling under the weather with cold and flu, so sending prayers and good wishes to our Corvette Family and to your own family. The Activities committee has been busy this month in planning the year ahead. We are excited about doing more mystery rides, impromptu gatherings to wineries and wine and dine. Not to mention supporting our brother clubs in all the upcoming car shows as well. Our Members Gary and Terri Lanctot have an exciting ride planned for October, and we are thrilled that they have taken the time to map out a route for all of us to enjoy. A special thank you to PAT AND JERRY PICOZZI, for the many years in planning amazing breakfast socials. Pat and Jerry are the epitome and foundation of the wonderful members in this Club. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work and dedication to our Members through your volunteering throughout the years. The baton has been passed and our Activities committee will be planning some wonderful brunches to get us through these winter months. So stay TUNED! TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2019 IS OUR NEXT MEETING we have our Sturbridge Social weekend getaway coming up. Thank you to those that are joining me for this fun country weekend winter getaway. While our cars are hibernating and sleeping, I hope that our Members are getting some well-deserved rest and well-being as well. The holidays can be so overwhelming. The Club is going to support our Veterans throughout the year with Operation Stand Down and putting our VETERANS FIRST! Giving back to our community is what it is all about. I hope the Membership will get involved and be supportive again this year as you have in the past in helping our Club raise funds for this very worthy cause.
