1 THE EXCHANGE The Newsletter of the Birmingham Friendship Force Club Volume 17, No. 6 Nov../Dec. 2015 President s Letter Action has been happening in the Friendship Force of Birmingham!!!!! Reports from the ambassadors that traveled to Hiroshima & Tottori, Japan on October 1-14 indicated a fabulous trip making friends and adventures. Another memorable exchange was made when fifteen ambassadors from Friendship Force of Birmingham traveled to Friendship Force of Huntsville our sister club November 5-7 in beautiful north Alabama. Thank you for sharing your history, delicious food, game night and hospitality with us. LEO-Our next LEO will be Wednesday, December 9, at Capers on Park Avenue. It is located in Bluff Park School. The time is 10:30 a.m. After lunch, for those interested, there will be a tour of the HHS cabin. Program for November 15 The program will be the highlights of the Sacramento Exchange. It will be led by Marlyss Giles. 2016 officers will also be installed by Inez McCollum. If you are interested in a FF shirt, contact Monograms N More at 685-1519 in Alabaster. The original cost was $10 but you provide the shirt. 1

5 I would appreciate short bios of any other new members (last 12 months). Save the Date We are planning a Valentine s Day Brunch for Saturday, February 13, at the home of Regina Smith. The cost will be $10.. For those of you who paid for the cancelled Octoberfest, you are covered. We will need an exact count on the Monday before the 13th. Exact directions for the brunch will be emailed at a later date and will be available at the January general meeting. This is also open to guests.
