2 Safety 2 Safety 2.1 Intended Use The Service Tent is to be used to protect the electrically qualified person from the effects of weather during installation work or during service work on the inverter. Only use the Service Tent for installation work or service work on the inverter. The enclosed documentation is a part of this product. Read and follow the documentation in order to be able to correctly and optimally use the Service Tent. Safely store the documentation in a convenient place for future reference. 2.2 Safety Instructions Inverter damage Maximum duration of use Only use the Service Tent for the duration of the installation work or of the service work on the inverter. Do not operate the inverter in continuous operation when the Service Tent is installed. Penetrating moisture can damage the inverter. Even when using the Service Tent, do not open the inverter when the humidity is greater than 95%. Immediately remove any penetrating moisture. Danger of fire Fire, naked light and smoking are prohibited in the Service Tent. Installation Guide SCxxxCPZelt-eng-IUS103910 11

3 Delivery 3 Delivery Ensure that the Service Tent has no visible external damages. If you find any damages, contact your specialty retailer. Check that the delivery is complete and that there are no visible external damages. If the delivery is incomplete or has damages, contact the SMA Service Line. 4 Mounting 4 Mounting 4.1 Removing the Panels from the Inverter 1. Undo the screws on the panels. Use a Torx screwdriver for this. 2. Remove the PE cables of the panels from the connection cabinet. 3. Remove the panels. 4.2 Erecting and Mounting the Service Tent 1. Remove the fixing bracket. Undo the floor fastening screw. Undo the screws on the inverter. 2. Insert the left-hand mounting bracket and attach it using the screws and nuts. 3. Undo the lower screw on the front base brace. 4 Mounting 4. Insert the right-hand mounting bracket. 5. Insert the screw into the right-hand mounting bracket and tighten. 6. Insert the joint poles into the mounting bracket. 7. 4 Mounting 9. Insert the safety bolts into the lower bracket poles. 10. Insert the central poles into the bracket poles. 11. Screw the central poles together using a hexagonsocket wrench. The screw connection for this is to be found behind a protective padding. 12. Attach the tent sheeting to the upper bracket pole using the Velcro fasteners. 4 Mounting 13. Unfold the tent frame. For this, 2 people and 1 ladder are necessary. 14. Lay the safety belt around the inverter and fasten. 15. Hook in the guide rope. Also, lead the guide rope through the loops on the tent sheeting. 16. Attach the tent sheeting to the tent frame using the Velcro fasteners. 17. 6 Disassembly 6 Disassembly 6.1 Disassembling the Service Tent The tent sheeting and the side tent sheeting are closed. 1. If present, remove the tent pegs. 2. Pull the bracket poles out of the brackets of the tent sheeting. 3. Loosen the guide rope. 4. Loosen the safety belt. 5. Undo the Velcro fasteners of the tent sheeting from the tent frame. 6. Fold up the tent frame. For this, 2 people and 1 ladder are necessary. Installation Guide SCxxxCPZelt-eng-IUS103910 19

6 Disassembly 7. Undo the screw connections on the tent frame. 8. Remove the safety bolts. 9. Dismantle the tent frame. 10. Dismantle the right-hand mounting bracket. Undo the screw. Remove the right-hand mounting bracket. 11. Insert the lower screw of the front base brace and tighten. 12. Dismantle the left-hand mounting bracket. Undo the screws. Remove the left-hand mounting bracket. 13. Mount the bracket. Insert the screws on the inverter and tighten. 6 Disassembly 6.2 Mounting the Panels on the Inverter. 1. Screw the PE cables of the panels of the connection cabinet tight (torque: 8 Nm... 10 Nm). 2. Check that the PE cables are securely in place. Re-tighten if necessary. 3. Attach the panels. Use a Torx screwdriver for this (torque: 2 Nm... 3 Nm). Installation Guide SCxxxCPZelt-eng-IUS103910 21
