September & October will be a key months for the nominations while elections are in November 2017. It is confirmed that Vice-President (Edgardo Gonzalez), Madam Secretary (Madeline Vazquez) & President (Victor Vazquez) are NOT going to run for Reelection and will NOT accept any nomination for the 2018, B.O.D. With that said I have an idea that was approved by the current B.O.D: The new B.O.D of 2018 that will be selected this November 2017 can join the current B.O.D starting in November until January as part of a cross training and experience what s coming in the near future. The new B.O.D takes over on 20 January 2018, the old B.O.D will stay and help them until March 2018, as mentor/adviser only! Short and to the point: The Hispanic American Club will have both B.O.D (2017 & 2018) working together for 5 months. This will make The Hispanic American Club stronger and will help the new B.O.D in a big way. Thank you for all the support. El mes de Septiembre sera un mes clave para las nominaciones del mes de Octubre y las elecciones en Noviembre 2017. Esta confirmado que El Señor Edgardo Gonzalez (Vice-Presidente), La Señora Madeline Vazquez (Secretaria) y El Señor Victor Vazquez (Presidente); No correran para un segundo termino y NO acceptaran que los nominen. Dicho esto, yo tengo la siguiente idea que ha sido aprobada por la Directiva del 2017: La Directiva nueva que sera escogida en Noviembre, puede unirse a la directiva que esta actualmente al mando del Club, comenzando en Noviembre hasta Enero, como forma de entrenamiento y de aprendizaje. Una vez llegue Enero 20 que sera el dia de entregar el Club a la nueva Directiva del 2018, la Directiva pasada la del 2017 se quedara ayudando a la Directiva nueva hasta Marzo 2018. En pocas palabras ambas Directivas estaran trabajando en conjunto por 5 meses, de esta forma la directiva del 2018 tendra experiencia y estara mejor preparada para los meses a seguir.
