We want to get them out and if anyone needs more she has some or they can contact Bobbi. She asked that members let Bobbi know where they place them so the tracking list can be kept up to date to avoid duplication. She noted that feedback so far has been good and it is important that the Feedback surveys are completed and returned. Marcie McLean asked how the surveys were being circulated. Bobbi Neal said they were being circulated as bookmarks in the book and on the website and will be coming soon. Bobbi Neal informed the committee that there was an opportunity to attend a Tourism Trade Show, cost for participation is $150.00 which is in the budget, it will be held on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the Victoria Conference Centre. Bobbi circulated a draft for the proposed vertical banners, these will be rotated around communities to promote the guide and a vehicle decal is planned for the future. After group discussion it was recommended that the following changes be made to the banners. - Website and quick response (QR) code be added - First quote remain as is - Second quote to stop at the word neighbours - Third quote to be second half of second quote they contribute to the overall quality of life and the well-being of all residents of the region. 2.1. There was further discussion regarding the thickness of the blue border around the card and it was decided to go with the narrower blue edging. 3.9 IACDI Rack Cards Marnie advised that she did not have a chance to update the Rack Cards. The following suggestions were made of what to include in the Rack Cards: - Basic Information, who we are, when we meet - Website, email, & twitter accounts - Committee s Mandate, who can join - Disability for a Day - Measuring up Grant - User Friendly Trail Guide - Top 5 things we have done Marnie said she would work on it. Marcie asked if Royal Roads was aware that Roger and IACDI were doing a trail evaluation. Marnie advised it was not intended to be a trail evaluation, but to a) identify 2.1. Page 7 of 9

This will give a two hour opportunity to promote the Guide and it is always good fun with lots of freebies and giveaways. Those who wish to volunteer are asked to let Cynthia know. Cynthia Day suggested that the committee might like to invite the Scooter Community to come out and support the station. IACDI thought this would be a good idea. 5.3 Grant in Aid-Marcie asked about an application IACDI had made to Metchosin for a grant recently for the IACDI Picnic. Marnie said yes this had been submitted and if we receive these funds, they would support the IACDI picnic as it is held at the Metchosin Community House.
