COWLEY COUNTY SHERIFF S OFFICE Activity Report 11/22-11/26 2018 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM Time Rec: Date: Description: 8:28 am 11/21/18 Deputy arrested Cody Walker on a warrant at the Arkansas City Court House. 8:57 am 11/21/18 Deputy was dispatched to an alarm call in the 23000 block of US 77 HWY. 9:32 am 11/21/18 Deputy was dispatched to a reckless driver complaint in the 22000 block of US 77 HWY. 10:14 am 11/21/18 Deputy arrested Kyesha Walker on a warrant at the Arkansas City Court House. 1:04 pm 11/21/18 Deputy was dispatched to the 18000 block of 171 st RD for trash dumping. 1:34 pm 11/21/18 Deputy was dispatched to an injured deer at 51 st /US 160 HWY. 1:58 pm 11/21/18 Deputy was dispatched to a welfare check in the southern portion of 3:12 pm 11/21/18 Deputy was dispatched to a welfare check on a male walking in the 19000 block of US 77 HWY. 3:25 pm 11/21/18 At approximately 3:30 PM a Wichita transit bus, driven by Steven Doze, of derby, was north bound on us 77 hwy in the 22000 block with 31 passengers (Creekstone employees). It stopped in the outside lane at the railroad tracks. A black 1999, Honda accord was driven by Joshua Waldorf, of Arkansas City. The Honda collided with the rear of the bus. Joshua was pinned in the vehicle. He was extricated by wfd/acfd. The hwy was closed briefly and Eagle med landed on the north bound lanes of the highway. Joshua was transported to Wesley Hospital with serious injuries. No passengers of the bus reported any injuries. A second transit bus later arrived to transport the passengers. The damaged bus was later removed by B&L and the Honda was removed by Bruton's.
