He has contributed to over 140 archaeological investigations and architectural assessments in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, and Tennessee and has authored or co-authored over 60 technical reports. In addition to conducting archaeological fieldwork and preparing technical reports, Mr. Dickerson s responsibilities include archival research, field documentation of architectural resources, and preparing artifact assemblages for curation. His research interests include African-American urbanization during Reconstruction.
