Officer instructed him to go home which he complied.

Officer arrived and made contact with subject. Subject did not show any signs of alcohol consumption. All was fine. Thursday May 16, 2013 9:45 AM Lt. Dear Hurley's Funeral Home Officers provided funeral escort. Civilian Auxiliary 9:55 AM Civilian Auxiliary 16000 CR 681 Civilian Auxiliary were flagged down and advised of animal welfare concern. Information was forwarded to animal control. 10:00 AM Lt. Dear Atascosa Co. JP2 Office Officers were dispatched for an officer assistance call. Upon officer's arrival, a male and female were already in custody. Both were found in contempt of court. 10:09 AM Civilian Auxiliary HEB Plus Assisted Atascosa Co. EMS with a patient not feeling well. 7:58 PM IH 35 South Bound @ Mile Marker 132 IH 35 South Bound @ Lytle-Somerset St. IH 35 North Bound @ FM 3175 Officer was dispatched to assist a stranded motorist. Upon officer's arrival, motorist already had a tow truck on the way. Report of a main water line brake. Businesses were contacted and notified of no water for about two hours. Officer assisted a stranded motorist who ran out of gas with a courtesy ride to and from Luv's in Natalia so that he can purchase a gas can and some gas. While on patrol, officer observed a male and female walking down the street. The couple advised that they ran out of gas. Officer gave the couple a courtesy ride to the gas pumps, but the debit card was not working. The couple was transported to the intersection of Oak St. and Gray St.
9:40 AM Ofc. Guzman 15200 Hester St. Officer was dispatched for two dogs attacking another dog. ACO. Morantez Officer arrived and met with complainant who stated the neighbor's dog had dug a hole between the property fence and dragged the dog by the face to their side and attacked it. Animal Control arrived, took photos and made contact with the neighbor. 5:40 PM Ofc. Guzman Main St. @ Somerset St. Report of a reckless driver. Officer made contact with a blue dodge car. There were no signs of impairment from the driver. The driver was released without further incident. 6:00 PM Ofc. Guzman IH 35 Frontage @ Officer assisted in blocking off the roadway for an 18 Benton City Rd. wheeler truck to adjust and park for the evening. 6:03 PM Ofc. D. Report of a suspicious vehicle parked across the parking spots for an extended period of time. Upon arrival, vehicle had departed.

Guzman 19700 IH 35 Report of a vehicle that had picked up a female child. Officers checked the area, unable to locate. Officer assisted Lytle EMS with an female patient who had a migraine and collapsed. Female was released to a family member. 8:31 PM Sgt. Hanson John Lott Park Richard Haass (47) was arrested for Public Intoxication. Lt. Dear Sr. Ofc. Robison Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. 9:00 PM Ofc. Lopez 63300 Juarez St. Assisted Lytle EMS with a male patient. 11:50 PM Sgt. Hanson N. Somerset St. @ Live Oak St. Routine traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jason Powell (40) for Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. Officers were dispatched to assist officers on a traffic stop. John Anthony Jarussi (35) was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.

Hanson HEB Plus Parking Lot Report of a confused elderly woman in the parking lot 10:20 PM Sgt. Hanson 15100 Norvell St. going from car to car trying to gain entry. Officer arrived and made contact with subject who appeared confused and frustrated and could not locate her vehicle. Vehicle was later located in the parking lot running with the doors unlocked. APS was notified and DPS notification is pending. Complainant reported a suspicious male in her back yard. Officer searched the area, unable to locate anyone.
