The driver, a 21 year old from Milwaukee, was arrested for OWI. He was taken to the station, booked, cited, and released to a responsible adult. The vehicle was removed by Leader Towing. Neighbor Trouble 8500 blk N 62 nd St Resident reports her neighbor yelled at her and demanded that she pay for damage that was caused by a tree that fell into his yard. The caller is in the process of repairing the damage and cleaning up the yard. She only wanted the incident noted and did not want her neighbor contacted. She was advised the damage is a civil matter.

Entry to Vehicle 8500 blk N 43 rd St A Menomonee Falls resident was in the lobby to report the theft of a backpack and purse from her vehicle. She stated her vehicle was parked while she went for a bicycle ride to Port Washington and the items were taken along with several credit cards and two checkbooks. The vehicle was not damaged during the theft. Neighbor Trouble Park Plaza Ct Resident was in the lobby to report ongoing trouble with her neighbor s dog that is frequently unleashed when outside. The caller said her neighbor opened their garage today and the dog exited unleashed while she was walking nearby. The dog did not cause any problems and was controlled by the owner. The caller only wanted the incident noted. Traffic Stop 8900 blk N 60 th St A traffic stop was conducted for speeding. As a result the driver, a 28 year old resident of Milwaukee, was arrested for two valid Brown Deer PD warrants. He was taken to the station, booked, cited and released after posting bail. Domestic Violence 5005 W Bradley Rd Resident reports her husband hit her. She said her husband has dementia and Alzheimer's disease and would not remember anything. She called the police because she was unsure of what to do with him anymore. She was given contact information for the Health Department and the department of Aging, along with other options for helping to deal with her husband. Noise Complaint 6300 W Brown Deer Rd Resident reports a semi-truck idling in the parking lot of Walmart at 10:27 PM. The driver of the semi stated he was waiting for the store to open up in the morning. He was advised of the Village ordinance and moved the semi. 6/29 Telephone Complaint 8600 blk N 53 rd St At 2:20 AM a resident reported her 13 year old granddaughter was talking to someone on the phone that sounded like an adult male. The girl said she gave "Kevin" her phone number on Kik (social media website). She said she does not talk to "Kevin" anymore because he asked her for a photo of her face. She was counseled about the dangers of talking to strangers. Suspicious Activity 9300 blk N 51 st St At 4:20 AM, an elderly resident reports someone was in her house and now ran out and left in a van with an unknown description. While responding, an officer observed the paper delivery van in the area and the resident just had her paper delivered. Upon officers' arrival, the house was

secure with no known entry or exit as all doors/windows were locked. No evidence that anyone entered or left the house. Driving Complaint 4300 blk W Bradley Rd A construction worker flagged down an officer regarding a vehicle that had been driving through barricades in the area instead of taking the designated route. The driver was contacted and advised her of the correct route to travel. Domestic Violence 4525 W Dean Rd Resident reported a domestic violence incident at her residence involving the father of her children, a 23 year old male from Milwaukee. She said he punched and choked her when he dropped off their children. The suspect fled prior to officers arrival. The case was referred to the District Attorney s Office for a review of charges. Property Damage 5200 W Brown Deer Rd Caller reports his rental car was damaged between 3:30 AM and 10:00 AM while parked at the Courtyard by Marriott. There was nothing stolen from inside nor did it appear that anyone attempted to enter the vehicle. Welfare Check Group Home A passing motorist reported a subject laying in the road and a female trying to assist him. It was determined that a patient from a nearby group home had not taken his medication and began walking away. An employee was trying to get him into her car. He eventually complied and was taken back to the group home. Suspicious Activity 8000 blk N 60 th St Resident called to report a subject knocked on her door to ask if her upstairs was for rent. Contact was made with a subject located near the Brown Deer Middle/High school soccer field. The 21 year old from Milwaukee said he saw the address on Craigslist listed for rent and did not mean to scare anyone. Resident was advised to look at Craigslist and flag any fraudulent postings. Disorderly Conduct 6600 blk W Brown Deer Rd A 32 year old Brown Deer resident called to report her boyfriend had her phone and wouldn't give it back. She also said he had threatened to hit her. Contact was made with both subjects who stated it was a verbal argument only. Resident said she only called the police to retrieve her phone and was not afraid for her safety. The 36 year old male from Milwaukee consented to a search and the phone was not located. It was later determined the phone was lost by the caller during the verbal argument.

Family Trouble 8250 N 46 St Report of a male and female outside fighting. Contact was made with the resident who was restraining his 14 year old daughter, who had bit and struck him for not giving her phone back. Both parties were counseled regarding their behavior. Family Trouble 4350 W Deer Run Resident reported her son was refusing to take his medication and was becoming violent. He agreed to take his medication in the officers' presence and calmed down. 6/30 Noise Complaint 9500 blk N 60 th St Caller reports loud music coming from the lower residence. She had asked the occupant to turn down the music but the occupant refused. Caller stated the music had just been turned down upon the officers arrival. The resident was advised of the complaint and the noise ordinance. Fraud 5800 W Green Brook Dr A resident sent an e-mail to the police department requesting assistance regarding purchasing used Summerfest Tickets. Contact with the suspect, a 16 year old from Glendale, who agreed to pay the resident back the $45.00 for the tickets. If the money is dropped off at the police department by July 10, 2015 no further action will be taken per the victim s request. Disorderly Conduct 6600 blk W Brown Deer Rd Resident called regarding threats he received from a tenant. Both parties reported threats from the other but did not wish to be complainants. The tenant left as his lease was up at noon and he had already moved out. Suspicious Activity 8100 blk N 44 th St Resident came into the station to report suspicious activity. She said an unknown black male has been walking throughout the neighborhood the past two weeks. The subject was asking to cut people's lawn and sometimes has a lawn mower. Resident just wanted the incident noted. Suspicious Activity 9400 blk Woods Cir An officer was flagged down by a citizen who stated he had observed a subject in a white panel van acting suspicious approximately 30minutes prior. The van stopped near a house and the driver took several pictures of a parked vehicle. The driver then approached another home with a box in his hands and left without making contact. The area was checked, but the van was unable to be located.

Accident/PI 5200 blk W Brown Deer Rd An officer reported being out with a two car crash. A 53 year old from Mequon reported being stopped in traffic waiting for the red light at N 51 st St., when her vehicle was struck from behind. The driver was of the striking auto is 43 years old and also from Mequon. The passenger reported that his neck was sore and possibly injured from the accident. Entry to Vehicle 9200 N Green Bay Rd A Brown Deer resident reported someone attempted to break into his Toyota Sienna van while he was in the store. There was no damage to the vehicle observed by the officer. It appeared a bolt had come loose in the locking mechanism, causing the lock to fall out on the ground. Theft Complaint 9000 blk N Silver Brook Ln Resident reports a stolen bicycle. The bike, a blue and gray, 15 speed, "GIANT" hybrid, was taken sometime after 3:00 PM. The resident stated that a juvenile, described as a male black, approximately 12 years old, wearing silver shorts and a gold colored jacket knocked on his door in the late afternoon and asked him if he had a basketball hoop that he could use. He later observed two other juveniles standing south of his residence shortly after that contact. As part of the investigation, another bike, a pink "DYNO" was recovered abandoned in a ditch a few houses south of the caller s residence. Open Door 5125 W Brown Deer Rd An officer was getting gas when a subject advised him that the door was unlocked and the lights were out. An employee was found asleep on the bathroom floor. There was a 40 oz can of Old Milwaukee beer next to him. He stated he was ok and fell asleep on the bathroom floor while drinking in the bathroom before leaving work for the night. He set the alarm and locked the doors as he left. 7/1 Domestic Violence 8945 N Park Plaza Ct Caller reports loud yelling and fighting in an apartment. Contact was made with the resident who was having a verbal argument with his 16 year old daughter. Both subjects were advised about the noise. Motor Vehicle Theft 6300 W Brown Deer Rd Report of a motor vehicle theft from the parking lot of Walmart between 3 AM and 5 AM. Contact was made with the victim/owner of the vehicle, a 22 year old male from Milwaukee. The vehicle taken was a 2006 Pontiac G6. There was also a loaded Beretta PX40 Storm handgun inside the vehicle underneath the passenger seat. Another Walmart employee reported that his vehicle was broken into. The individual refused to provide any information and did not wish to pursue the matter.

Burglary 4300 blk W Woodale Ave Resident called to report that her door was kicked in and her residence was burglarized. The residence was entered and numerous items of jewelry were reported missing. Theft Complaint 9000 blk N Goldendale Dr Resident reported the theft of bicycles from his garage. He stated his blue Gary Fisher mountain bike and his wife's gray Trek mountain bike were stolen between 11 AM on 06/29/15 and 11 AM on 07/01/15. Animal Complaints 8600 blk N 53 rd St Resident reports that his neighbor's dog was at large and in his yard. The dog was in the caller s yard and barking during the call. The dog owner was also contacted and advised that she would be receiving a citation for the dog at large violation. Theft Complaint 8330 N 46 St Resident called to report that sometime overnight, the original factory rims and tires were taken off her 2003, Chevy Cavalier vehicle and the vehicle was left on blocks. She just wanted the incident noted and requested extra patrols. Accident/PI 5600 blk W Brown Deer Rd BDPD officer observed a vehicle in the roadway and a vehicle in the ditch which were involved in an accident. A 19 year old from Milwaukee was driving eastbound in the 5600 blk W Brown Deer Rd when she switched lanes from lane two to lane three. A 23 year old from Milwaukee was at the stop sign on N 56th St and W Brown Deer Rd and thought the other vehicle was turning right onto N 56th St. so he entered the intersection and struck the other vehicle. The driver from Milwaukee requested an ambulance for minor injuries. Disorderly Conduct 8600 blk N 68 th St Resident reported that a black male, 25-35 years old, driving a tan Oldsmobile, verbally confronted her after she backed into her driveway, impeding him as he traveled south on 68th St. The suspect then made threats to "cap" her and threw a beer bottle at her. The vehicle was gone upon the officers arrival and no license plate was obtained by the caller or any witnesses. Police Mutual Aid Report of a retail theft at the Walgreen s in Fox Point. A BDPD officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in front of Otto's. The driver, a 37 year old from Milwaukee was arrested by FPPD and also issued a citation for Operating While Suspended from BDPD. Two passengers, ages 20 and 28 from Milwaukee were also arrested by FPPD.

Entry to Vehicle 6300 W Brown Deer Rd A Milwaukee resident reported an unknown suspect stole a purse from his unlocked car on 07/01/2015 at approximately 4:17 AM. 7/2 Motor Vehicle Theft 8900 N Kildeer Ct A 49 year old from Amberg, Wisconsin reports his vehicle was stolen from the Sheraton parking lot by a known female. The vehicle was entered as stolen and follow up continues. Theft Complaint 5700 W Ester Pl Resident reported that his ex-girlfriend took his.22 Browning Buckmark pistol and is refusing to return it. He said that he did not want to pursue the matter if she returned the pistol. She said she would return the pistol but that she also wanted to retrieve some of her personal items from the residence. The property was exchanged later that day. The female party was also advised to contact the resident before bringing movers to retrieve the rest of her property. Welfare Check 6300 W Brown Deer Rd Report of an elderly male in the parking lot who appeared disoriented, lost and was asking for rides. The 68 year old from California, was currently homeless and staying at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. He did not need medical assistance and was given a ride back to the rescue mission. Retail Theft 6300 W Brown Deer Rd Report of a retail theft with a cooperative suspect at Walmart. A 52 year old female from Milwaukee was arrested for retail theft, trespassing, and open warrants, which were also for Retail Theft. She was turned over to Franklin PD on one of the warrants. Disorderly Conduct 6300 W Brown Deer Rd While on scene for the Retail Theft, LP reported a fight in progress in the parking lot. Contact was made with a 24 year old male and a 33 year old female, both from Milwaukee. The incident did not meet the requirement for a Domestic Violence incident however, the female wished to be a complainant for Disorderly Conduct. The male was arrested, booked, cited, and given a ride to his sister's residence in Milwaukee.

Domestic Violence 5300 blk W Willow Rd Report of a man punching a woman in a vehicle near 53rd and Willow. The vehicle, a black Pontiac Grand Am with no plates, was last seen southbound on N 53rd St. towards W Bradley Rd. The area was checked but the car was unable to be located. The caller had had no additional information. FI Stop 8300 blk N Teutonia Av At 10:50 PM, a BDPD officer made contact with a 20 year old male from Milwaukee who was washing his vehicle at the car wash outside operating hours. He was advised of the hours of operation and left. FI Stop 7850 N 51 st St An officer on patrol made contact with two subjects riding bicycles in Algonquin Park for a possible curfew violation. Both subjects were 18 years old and residents of Brown Deer. They were warned about being in the park after hours and for riding on the street without lights on their bikes. 7/3 Disorderly Conduct 7651 N Teutonia Av While conducting a bar check at Parkview Pub, the officer was asked to standby while a customer, 23 year old from Milwaukee, was asked to leave the bar after being unable to pay his bar bill. The customer fled the scene on foot after re-entering the bar to make payment. During the investigation, a 22 year old female from Brown Deer reported that the same subject grabbed her arm and threatened to hurt her just prior to officers arriving on scene. The subject was not located and the investigation continues. Traffic Stop 6800 blk W Brown Deer Rd A BDPD officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding, 57 in a 40 MPH zone. The driver, a 44 year old male from Milwaukee, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-3rd and outstanding warrants with the Germantown Police Department. He was booked, cited, and transported to the County Jail. Motor Vehicle Theft 4900 W Brown Deer Rd Report of an entry into a vehicle in the FIS parking lot. Unknown suspects entered four vehicles, damaging two vehicles by attempting to steal them. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the scene when an officer arrived on scene. The officer got in a vehicle pursuit with the suspect vehicle, which was determined later that it was reported stolen from the area of N. 104th Street and W Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee. The pursuit was terminated in the area of N. 76th Street and W Calumet Road after the officer lost sight of the vehicle.

Subject Stop FI 8100 blk N 45 th St Officer reports an unknown black male that had been reported as trespassing in yards by a resident earlier in the week. Contact was made with 36 year old resident of Brown Deer. He was advised of resident's concern regarding walking through yards. Disorderly Conduct 4715 W Bradley Rd Caller reports his vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the parking lot of the Brown Deer Lanes. The driver of the striking vehicle then displayed a handgun and drove away. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 31 year old male was located at his residence in Brown Deer and arrested for hit and run - occupied vehicle and disorderly conduct while armed. Retail Theft 9200 N Green Bay Rd Pick N Save reports a retail theft in progress. A 54 year old female from Milwaukee was arrested for stealing steaks. She was cited on scene and released. Fireworks 8000 blk N 54 th St A resident in the area reports fireworks on N 54 Street. Contact was made with the 33 year old resident who provided false identifying information and refused to come to the door after identifying himself. He will be receiving citations for noises prohibited, fireworks prohibited, and obstructing an officer. Suspicious Activity 5300 blk W Woodland Ave Resident reports seeing a red laser pointer coming through his window. The area was checked, but officers were unable to locate anyone in the area. 7/4 Fraud 9395 N 49 th St A cab driver, reports after he dropped off a subject, the subject fled on foot not paying his cab fare. The driver had minimal information as to the identity of the subject other than a name of "Tyler". The area was checked, but officers were unable to locate the subject that fled. Animal Complaints 6300 W Brown Deer Rd A BDPD officer was flagged down by a subject reporting a dog was in a vehicle with the windows up parked in the Walmart parking lot. The vehicle was located with the driver's window down approximately eight inches and the dog showed no signs of distress. No action taken. Family Trouble 4195 W Bradley Rd A 66 year old female from Milwaukee reports her ex-husband, a 71 year old Brown Deer resident, would not get out of her vehicle and leave. It was a verbal disagreement only.

Theft Complaint 8737 N Deerwood Rd Employee reports a subject just stole picnic tables and chairs from Larry's Market. He was last seen northbound and then east on W Brown Deer Road. It was determined that the owner of Larry's arranged for the owner of Poco Loco, to use them. Fire Call 4525 W Dean Rd Caller reports a fire in the dumpster behind 4525 W Dean Road. NSFD extinguished the minor fire. The fire appears to have started from hot coals from a grill. An area canvass of the apartments did not return any information on who may have dumped their grill into the dumpster. Trespassing 4800 W Green Brook Dr Caller reports five individuals on the train tracks trying to walk through the closed off area for the fireworks and it was stated they were disorderly. The subjects were not disorderly and were only told they could not enter the area. The subjects left without incident. Disorderly Conduct 4800 W Green Brook Dr Caller reports someone may have urinated in public in the area of the park. The subject involved was located. The 71 year old stated he just adjusted his belt and denied urinating in public. Officers were unable to substantiate the incident occurred. Warrant Pick UP 5675 W Brown Deer Rd A 61 year old resident reports finding three glass crack pipes outside her apartment building. One of the glass pipes was located hidden in the hallway of the apartment building and the other two were located hidden behind an outside light for the apartment building. It could not be determined who placed the pipes in these areas. The pipes were inventoried and destroyed. It was determined that the caller had two valid warrants through the Mequon Police Department for traffic violations. She was taken into custody and posted bail to satisfy the warrants. Property Damage 9090 N 51 st St A BDPD officer was flagged down by a citizen regarding subjects that were seen damaging a side mirror on a parked vehicle. Three 21 year old subjects from Brown Deer were located and identified. One was arrested for a warrant from Mequon PD. He was taken to the station, booked, and released after bail was posted. The owner of the damaged vehicle was also located. Fireworks Various Locations Officers responded to five different calls of fireworks.
