Launch of New Rail Service Globelink is very pleased to announce that we have added a second rail service, from Wuhan to Hamburg! Our first sailing took place on 5th Jan 2019. This is on top of our first weekly rail service Chengdu to Lodz launched in 2018. Rail freight is an intermediary product with transit time faster than by ocean, and is more cost effective as compared to movement by air. Cargo suitable for rail movement includes electronics, automotive parts and machineries etc which are often needed for just-in-time manufacturing. Wuhan is ideally located in Central China, and convenient for pre-carriage pickup of cargo from all over China, with transit time of 2 to 4 days. At destination Hamburg, we also provide on-carriage delivery to continental Europe! Besides, we can provide real-time cargo tracking, as well as handle Import & export customs clearance & declaration, inspection, quarantine, storage, loading & unloading, devanning/distribution of LCL shipments.
