Rest for a delicious afternoon tea in the garden of an historic island home built by Fletcher Quintal descendant of Bounty mutineers Fletcher Christian and Matthew Quintal. Day 4 Sunday 23 February 2015 (B, D) Convict Settlement/Fletcher s Fate Convict Settlement Tour This morning you will go on an in depth tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery and hear the history of interesting convict and colonial headstones and hear stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol; see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill. Morning tea included. Lunch is own arrangements and afternoon is at leisure. World of Norfolk During your leisure time this week be sure to use your enclosed voucher to visit the World of Norfolk located upstairs in the Foodland Mall. The World of Norfolk Exhibit is an exhibition that brings to life a series of stories that collectively encompass and celebrate Norfolk Island and its people. The exhibit features world class large format photography, mixed media and contemporary visual displays to engross you in a memorable World. Fletcher s Fate A fascinating evening of interactive theatre, intrigue and mystery. This entertaining play, examining the possible last movements and final whereabouts of the famous mutineer, Fletcher Christian, is dramatically acted out by a 6 character cast over a sumptuous 3 course dinner. Day 5 Monday 24 February 2015 (B,D) Cyclorama/La Perouse/Sound and Light Cyclorama This morning we will head off to Cyclorama, an unforgettable experience. Walk inside the continuous 360 degree panoramic painting that traces the history of the Bounty leaving England through Tahiti, Pitcairn Island and arrival at Norfolk Island in 1856. The stillness and the stars are there just as they were before mankind arrived in 1788. However, with the dramatic use of real life sounds, theatrical lighting and costumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree Tours takes you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island s convict era. Day 6 Tuesday 25 February 2015 (B, D) Behind the Hedges/Island Fish Fry/Mutiny on the Bounty Behind the Hedges This morning travel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm, which has been instrumental in improving the local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk's major pottery and browse at the Cottage Pottery shop. After a delicious morning tea at a scenic location, visit a beautiful private and commercial garden that supplies the local florists with stock. Finish the morning with a visit to a large banyan tree on a private property. Lunch is own arrangements and the afternoon is a leisure. Island Fish Fry This evening you will enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts. Enjoy some local entertainment on Norfolk's beautiful Puppy's Point. Mutiny on the Bounty See descendants of the mutineers bring the story of the famed Mutiny on the Bounty and historic events to life in an outdoor amphitheatre on Norfolk s western coastline. Day 7 Wednesday 26 February 2015 (B, D) Breakfast Bush Walk/Progressive Dinner This morning take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. At the end of the walk everyone will meet up on the cliff top for a delicious breakfast barbecue. If you prefer not to rise early and bush walk, but would like to have breakfast on the cliff top, join the walkers at Anson Bay as they return from their walk. Day 8 Thursday 27 February 2015 (B, D) Glass Bottom Boat/Dinner at Hotel/Farewell Concert Christian s Glass Bottom Boat View beautiful coral gardens and tropical fish inside the calm crystal waters of Norfolk s lagoon. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances, beyond our control make changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute inclusions.. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS All cancellations must be advised in writing. Once full payment has been received and documents issued, an airline cancellation fee of $250 per person, hotel cancellation fee of $250 per person plus a $30 administration fee per booking will be charged.
