Since the last newsletter I rode to the TN-H Gathering where they swore in a new Chapter Director (CD) and Treasurer. Congratulations CD Will and Thu and moneyman Pat. After the Gathering they were riding to Jiffy Burger so I rode back to Manchester with them and enjoyed their company for lunch. The following Thur, 15 of us met at Boskey s for dinner and discussed the upcoming Christmas Party at Pat and Jerry s house. In Dec instead of having a Gathering we had our Christmas Party. We had 16 at our Christmas party on Thur 6 Dec at Pat and Jerry s house. We played dirty Santa and everyone had a great time (see pics). We presented the high mileage award (working) to Randy and Lisa. We also recognized them as the 2019 Chapter Couple Of the Year (COY). Thanks Robyn for suggesting that day. (Director s Corner Continued from page 1) Then 13 Dec 9 of us ate at Prater s on Hwy 53 in Manchester. Finally, 7 of us visited the Urban Plantation in Shelbyville on 20 Dec. 1st time here, food was good and price was right. This is a unique restaurant. If you have a large group you should call 1st. Then it was into the new year 2019. Our New Year s Day ride met at Emma s where we had a good meal then went on a short ride. On Jan 3rd 15 of us met at John T s in Winchester for a great meal and fellowship. Don t forget our operations meeting is 19 Jan at the Gladeville Community Center. All officers are expected to attend. Just because it is Jan and its not on the calendar doesn t mean we aren t doing anything. If we can t go on the bikes we will go in the car. So watch your email for notifications. Here are a few suggestions: The Natchez Trace ride, a mid week to the Stillhouse restaurant in Woodbury. Car ride to Bottom Willow Civil War dinner in Whitwell. This is a M-Th event. Let me know if you are interested in any of these and give me a date. I will let you know where and when we are going. We need to schedule the Ark ride at our planning meeting. We may be able to work in that Drive-In theater ride in the spring. Take a look at page 1 for some vacant Team positions. Let me know if you are interested in any. I would also like you to provide me articles about any recent rides or vacations you have been on so I can put them in the newsletter.
