All other guests and family members are $5. Let s eat! Dave Ossie Matt Elaine Kenny New Member Dave - Safety Officer Dave's Safety Tip INDEPENDENT NEWS By Dave Taking Curves Part 2 5. Another thing that an inexperienced rider lacks is the understanding of how far a motorcycle will lean before it will fall over. If you have ever watched motorcycle racing you will have an idea. How far you can lean your bike over is also dependent on ground clearance and available trac on. Clean dry pavement offers more trac on than wet, painted or dusty surfaces. 6. Another mistake that riders tend to make is that they take curves to ght, That is they start their turn to early, which can have a few disadvantages. The rider cannot see the puddle of oil, gravel, pot hole or other debris. Another problem that the rider will have going into the turn to ght is, it will force the bike to dri wide on the exit. If the rider turns into the curve later he/she will have a be er view of what s around the corner and the rider will be be er prepared to handle the obstacles they may encounter. Keep the sunny side up and ride safe.
