The Ultimate outdoor experience What you ll eat & Where you ll sleep At Resident Camp and Troop Adventure Camp, most meals are served family-style in a dining hall. You ll also get to plan for and prepare a meal over the campfire. Meals are kid-friendly and healthy. We can accommodate most common food allergies and dietary restrictions. Visit our website for more information. Platform Tents are large, canvas tents on wooden platforms with cots. *Day campers bring their own packed lunches each day. Cabins are small structures with windows, a door, and bunk beds. Restrooms are located in separate structures close by. CAMP FILLS QUICKLY REGISTER TODAY! Registering is easy! Adults, Here s how: 1. Online Registration opens at 6am: - Resident & Day Camps, Jan. 23, 2019 - Special Events, Jan. 23, 2019 - Troop Adventure Camp, Feb. 20, 2019 - Registration form available at camp.gswo.org. TAC REGISTRATION: Download and complete paper TAC registration forms at camp.gswo.org/tac and fax, mail, or walk the form in to any regional council office. A $10 deposit per girl is required. 2. Visit camp.gswo.org to look at all camp descriptions. 3. Choose the program/s and date/s your camper would like to attend. 4. Click Register Now under the program your camper would like to attend. 5. Log into MYGS to complete your registration. 6. Confirmations are located in MYGS for your convenience. Payment is easy! Here s what and when you need to pay: New Registration Time! 1. Non-refundable deposit $50 for resident and/or day camp ($10 for TAC) per camp/per camper, or payment in full if less than $50 - due at time of registration. 2. $25 membership fee (if not a current Girl Scout) - due at time of registration 3. Remaining balance Due by May 17 or your registration is subject to cancellation Refunds and Cancellations Cancel in writing 30 days prior to session date and receive a refund, minus the nonrefundable deposit. If you cancel closer to the session date, include a doctor s note or other suitable documentation. Acceptable situations include camper s illness, family emergency, move from service area before camp begins, etc. If eligible for a refund, submit written request for the balance of the fee within two weeks of the end of the camp program. Other refund requests will be considered on a case by case basis prior to camp, if notification is given on or before the cancellation date. Deposits are nonrefundable unless the desired program opportunity is full or has been canceled.
Camp Staff Our talented and experienced camp staff are carefully screened and intensely trained to keep you safe and to create a positive, harmonious, and supportive camp environment. Many camp staff are aspiring teachers, outdoor educators, and former campers. They come from all over Ohio, the United States, and other countries to work with you. Bring a Buddy! Have a special friend you want to share the camp experience with? You can BOTH request each other when you register for the same camp program. Requests are limited to ONE buddy. If you have more than one friend coming to camp with you, don t worry. You can still hang out with all your friends, old and new, during most of the daytime activities, like swimming, meals, and game time. EVERY GIRL DESERVES A CHANCE TO CAMP! Camperships are available to ensure girls needing financial assistance can participate. You can request financial assistance when you register online. not a member? not a problem.
