Welcome to delgrosso s Park & laguna splash! This guide provides information regarding the accessibility of our rides, attractions, and facilities during your visit with us. Our park was founded in 1947. Many of our buildings, rides, and attractions were not built and manufactured with accessibility in mind. We have taken a proactive approach to make our facility readily achievable where possible and to create programs and services to remove barriers for guests with mobility impairments and special needs. Guests should utilize the information in this guide to make decisions on which rides and attractions their abilities allow them to participate in, and which programs and services may be helpful in planning their day. 1

accessibility Accessible Parking DelGrosso s Park offers a limited number of accessible parking spaces in two different lots. Accessible parking requires guests to display a valid accessible placard or license plate and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our Ride Side Parking Lot is located inside the Park behind our First Aid Station along the fence. Guests with a valid accessible placard or license plate should pull up to our Security Booth located between the crosswalk and Park Office. If an accessible space is available, our security staff member will issue a pass indicating which accessible numbered spot to park in. If all of our accessible spaces in the Ride Side Parking Lot are filled, guests may drop off members of their party, but will be directed to our Main Parking Lot (Water Side) to park. Our Main Parking Lot also contains a limited number of accessible spaces close to our Entrance Plaza. Picnicking Guests may drop off members of their party and unload their vehicle at their pavilion by pulling up to the Security Booth and asking for a Loading/Unloading Pass. First aid DelGrosso s Park has two First Aid Facilities staffed by Certified Emergency Medical Technicians where guests can receive emergency medical treatment for injuries and illness. Our Ride Side First Aid Station is located behind the Helicopters in Kid s Kingdom. Our Water Side First Aid Station is located between Laguna Waterworks and Laguna Slides in the Water Park. At our Ride Side First Aid Station, guests may rent Electric Scooters, Children s Double Strollers, and Adult Strollers for a nominal fee. Our Ride Side First Aid Station is also equipped with an area for guests that require the use of an adult changing area. Infant Care Center Located directly next to our Ride Side First Aid Station, our Infant Care Center provides a quiet and private area for nursing mothers. This area is equipped with diaper changing stations and nursing mother stations. Baby food, bottles, baby juice, diapers, and other needed items may be purchased at a nominal fee. Restrooms Our Ride Side restrooms are located behind the Information Booth, next to the Kunzler Grill in Tipton Creek, and in the Picnic Grove at the back of the Park. Our Water Side restrooms are located across from Pasta Fresca, beside Pizza Famosa, outside Grill Americano, and between Laguna Waterworks and Laguna Slides. Family Restrooms for guests that may require assistance of another guest are located across from Pasta Fresca, outside Grill Americano, behind the Information Booth, and in the Picnic Grove. ATM's For guest convenience there are two Automated Teller Machines located on DelGrosso s Park property. The ATM Ride Side is located next to the serving windows of Murf s Kitchen. The ATM Water Side is located across from Cheesesteaks Delizioso. Games and Gift Shop Our Games and Gift Shop attendants are readily available to assist you in any way that they can. Please ask an attendant for assistance or accommodations when needed. Our La Famiglia Gift Shop (Ride Side) is equipped with an accessible entrance located at the back of the building. Our Laguna Gift Shop (Water Side) is accessible from either entrance. At our Water Side Laguna Gift Shop, guests may rent Electric Scooters, Children s Double Strollers, and Adult Strollers on a first-come, first-served basis. Concerts and Shows Limited accessible seating is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis for many of our stage concerts and events that include performances. Please call our Park Office to confirm which concerts and shows provide accessible seating. Smoking/vaping In an effort to provide a family-friendly atmosphere for all guests to enjoy, designated smoking/vaping areas have been established throughout DelGrosso's Park and Laguna Splash. This policy includes: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, etc. Please see Park Map for locations. ASL Interpreters Hearing impaired guests who would benefit from an ASL Interpreter for American Sign Language (ASL) must submit a written request at least two weeks prior to the event to parkinfo@delgrossos.com. service animals DelGrosso s Park welcomes service animals (dogs, miniature horses) who have been specifically trained to perform functions or tasks for an individual with a disability who cannot perform for themselves. Service animals must be the control of their owner, harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal s work or the individual s disability prevents them from using these devices. Service animals must be housebroken. Please ask a team member for the nearest green space available for service animals to relieve themselves. If at any time the behavior of the service animal is deemed out of control, the guest may be asked to remove the service animal from the Park. Service animals are not permitted to enter the water in our Laguna Splash Attractions. They are permitted up to the water s edge. Service animals are not permitted on rides and attractions with the exception of the Carouselle and the Train which may accommodate a service animal if the animal s presence does not compromise legitimate safety requirements necessary for the safe operation of the ride. Service animals must not be left unattended or with Park Team Members. 2 3

Dining Areas Most of DelGrosso s Park picnic pavilions and dining patios are equipped with wheelchair accessible tables. Food Allergy Concerns DelGrosso's Park does not use peanut oil in any of its food stands. Our staff is trained on handling allergens and each concession manager is able to provide options that can fit into dietary restrictions. While we take every precaution to ensure safe service to our guests with food allergies, we cannot guarantee that there are not trace amounts of known allergens in the food preparation areas. We do ask, since you stand your sensitivity better than anyone else, that you make an educated decision on what you are comfortable with. Rider Safety At DelGrosso s Park we strive to provide a safe environment for all guests to enjoy. We enforce all safety regulations in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rider Safety and Liability Act, and the Pennsylvania State Ride Inspection Act. There are inherent risks to participating in amusement park rides and attractions. Our goal is to ensure your safety by establishing and enforcing ridership criteria for each ride. To maintain a safe experience for all guests, DelGrosso s Park reserves the right to refuse any guest admission to any ride if ridership criteria and/or height requirements are not met. Rider Responsibility Pennsylvania Rider Safety and Liability Act No.1994-58 requires that riders must obey all warnings and restrictions regarding rides and must behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury of themselves or others. Failure to comply is cause for dismissal from the Park without refund. Ridership criteria Ride Height Requirements Every ride and attraction at DelGrosso s Park has a set height requirement that must be met before a guest is be admitted onto a ride or attraction. These height requirements are set by the ride manufacturers specifications and are mandated by law. DelGrosso s Park reserves the right to change rider requirements at any time. These safety systems may place restrictions on the ability of an individual to safely experience a ride. Guests of exceptional height and/or weight may not be able to be accommodated on some rides due to rider restraint system requirements. Some rides have maximum height or weight requirements. If you are concerned whether or not you can be accommodated safely on a ride, please see the Ride Operator at the Alternate Access Point prior to waiting in line for an evaluation to ensure that the restraints function properly. Guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on the following rides: Crazy Mouse, Dodgem, Free Fall, Pharaoh's Fury, Rock Star, X-Scream Tower, and Yo-Yo. Additional Information Prosthetics, Braces, and Casts Due to the design of our rides and attractions, guests with prosthetic devices or casts may have difficulties fitting safely into the restraints of our rides and attractions. Guests with braces or casts that inhibit the designed use of the ride restraint may not be permitted to certain rides. Guests wearing prosthetic devices will be admitted on most rides and attractions, as long they are properly secured and all other ridership criteria is met. For the safety of all guests, guests wearing prosthetic devices will be asked to remove any leg prostheses before boarding the following rides; Free Fall and X-Scream Tower. Guests who remove their leg prostheses must have a residual limb below the knee in order to board these rides. For more information on accessibility regarding prosthetics, braces, and casts, please speak with a Rides Manager at the Security/Rides Office behind the Turtle Ride in Kid s Kingdom. Loose Articles Due to the dynamic motion of our rides and attractions, loose or hand-held articles are not permitted on the rides. Loose articles should be left with a non-rider or secured in a locker. Oxygen Tanks Due to the dynamic motion of our rides and attractions oxygen tanks are not permitted on most of our rides and attractions. Guests are permitted to ride the Carouselle and the Train with their oxygen tank. Ride Shutdowns For the safety of our guests, in some cases a ride may need to be shut down for mechanical reasons, power failure, or inclement weather. In these situations riders may be required to navigate catwalks, steeply inclined ramps, or steps when exiting the ride. Please consider this factor before riding a ride. 6 health requirements Many rides have features such as high speeds, sharp turns, sudden slopes, drops, twists, or other dynamic forces. While all amusement attractions have inherent risks, certain individuals are at increased risk for injury. Only you know your physical conditions and limitations. If you feel your health could be at risk, or, if you have any other condition that may be aggravated other than the ones listed below DO NOT RIDE OR PARTICIPATE in our rides and attractions. When preparing to board tell the Ride Operator you are using the kid swap program. 3. Children who are not tall enough to ride may wait at the exit with an adult from your party. 4. After the first ride is completed, the adult who waited with the child will then be permitted to ride. Similarly, if one parent has two children who meet the height restriction (but must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion or who wish not to ride alone), the parent may ride with one child while the other child waits in an appropriate area of the ride. At the conclusion of the initial ride, the parent may remain on the ride while the children "swap" places. Supervising Companion must have proper admission. Ride Accessibility Program DelGrosso s Park has a Ride Accessibility Program that allows guests to participate in our rides when possible, while maintaining safety for all guests. Our program is aimed to match the abilities of each guest with the ridership criteria for each ride, to make an informed decision before granting access to any of our rides. Each ride has a criteria established for a guest to ride safely. Ridership criteria is based on the requirements of the ride manufacturers, and the ability of guests to utilize ride safety restraints, as designed in maintaining correct postural control throughout the duration of the ride. Guests who meet the ridership criteria for each ride and do not pose a hazard to themselves or others may be permitted access as a rider. 1. Guests can enroll in the Ride Accessibility Program at the Security/Rides Office behind the Turtle Ride in Kid s Kingdom for information on which rides they may be able to enjoy. Guests must have proper admission for each ride, either wristband or correct number of tickets. Upon enrolling in the program, guests will be asked to Complete and Sign a Ride Accessibility Questionnaire. Based on the answers to the questionnaire and the official height measurement, guests will be given a Boarding Pass valid for the day, indicating the rides and attractions they may be permitted to ride. 2. Enrollment in the Ride Accessibility Program does not guarantee access to rides through the alternate access point. Only Guests with mobility impairments (which generally require the use of assistive mobility devices or aids) and other qualifying special needs may be issued an Accessibility Wristband. The Accessibility Wristband will allow the guest plus up to 3 additional companions to access DelGrosso s Park rides through the alternate access point. Guests qualifying for the Accessibility Wristband must ride in order for their companions to enter through the accessible entrances. Companions must have proper admission, and meet all ridership criteria including the height requirement for each ride. 10 3. Guests who are issued an Accessibility Wristband should proceed to the alternate access point (in most cases the ride exit gate, see the information section for the alternate access point for each ride) and present their Boarding Pass and Wristband to the operator informing them that they wish to ride. If no ride operator is present at the alternate access point, please wait patiently until an operator returns. The ride operator will ask to see both the Accessibility Wristband and Boarding Pass to verify the ride is listed. If the ride is not listed on the Boarding Pass, the guest will not be permitted access onto the ride. 4. DelGrosso s Park Employees are not trained to and may not assist with the lifting or transferring out of wheelchairs or other mobility assistive devices or aids. Guests who require assistance in the loading, unloading or evacuation of a ride including being lifted into or out of a ride carriage or attraction, must be assisted by a companion from their party who is familiar with the task. 5. This accommodation is designed to provide access to our rides and not to bypass others waiting in the lines. Guests may be required to wait 1-2 ride cycles prior to boarding. Guests with larger parties may also choose to wait until their party reaches the front of the line before boarding through the alternate access point.
