Elgar Suite The Abbey features five main function rooms with a capacity of up to 300 people in a variety of layouts. There are also two additional syndicate rooms for break-out meetings. All the rooms are flexible and can suit meetings, conferences, training, team building, product launches, exhibitions, private dining, dinner dances and cocktail parties. They all feature natural daylight, wireless broadband internet access, plenty of power sockets and telephone points. It is entirely self-contained, with direct access from the side of the building and car park, and has its own bar and cloakrooms. Shaw Suite Hereford and Garden Suites This suite is not part of the original building but was added by the Ministry of Information, which commandeered the hotel during World War II, as their main meeting room. Since then a large skylight has been added, which runs the length of the room flooding it with natural daylight. The Shaw Suite is centrally located on the ground floor and is easily accessible from the reception area. It has wireless broadband internet access, air conditioning, staging and a dance floor as well as its own bar, lending itself equally well to meetings or private dining. The Hereford and Garden Suites are ideal syndicate rooms seating up to 12 and 20 people respectively. Both the rooms feature wireless broadband internet access and natural daylight.
