WOODS County Attorney Our airport is located in the heart of a highly populated metropolitan area in which some of our residents are disturbed by aircraft noise. The airport works diligently to minimize the negative effects that may be created as a result of the airport. We have developed a Voluntary Nighttime Curfew (11:00pm-7:00am local) and Voluntary Noise Abatement Procedures to help assist pilots in reducing aircraft noise that negatively affects our community. In an ongoing effort to make our Voluntary Nighttime Curfew a success, I am asking for your assistance and cooperation. Our records indicate that your aircraft conducted seven (7) operations on March 17, 2018 @ 0648, March 19, 2018 @ 2333, March 20, 2018 @ 0015, March 1, 2018 @ 2340, March 2, 2018 @ 0010, March 2, 2018 @ 0639 & March 2, 2018 @ 0123 during our Voluntary Curfew Hours of 2300-0700 EST. Although the curfew is voluntary, I would like to request your support of the curfew. Enclosed for your convenience, please find copies of our two (2) new Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs).
