Cub Scout Fall Family Camp Arrival and parking: Campers arrive any time after 6 PM Friday. If you require a later arrival (after 9 pm, please let your Pack leadership know. Saturday Day only arrive at your convivence and park in the designated area. Each camping group will have designated areas for parking. Refer to the camp map below. Please follow the directions. Keep in mind one or two vehicles or trailer can be kept in a site. Otherwise, all others should be in the designated parking area. NO PARKING ALONG THE CAMP DIRT ROADS. These roads are narrow, and we need to have clear access. Supervision/Leadership: Leaders/Parents/Guardians are 100% responsible for the supervision of their Scouts from the time you arrive until you leave property. Two deep leadership and the Guide to Safe Scouting should be followed always. The camp staff will be operating program, please understand they are all volunteers from Summer Camp Staff, STEM Committee, Shooting Sports Committee and Heritage Committee. Every effort will be made to have an enjoyable weekend. Special Note: If you are BB and Archery officer trained, we can use your services throughout the day. See Foof our camp staff director either Friday night or Saturday morning. Everyone is invited to: 1:30 PM Saturday - Settlers Dining Hall/Buttress area for the 90 th dedication ceremony of Trexler Scout Reservations! o Following ceremony, a guided tour of the New Historical Trail and TSR Museum. Camp Sites and Fires: Camping area assignments are in addendum below. Maps of Akelaland, Hawkeye and TSR are in addendum below. We are making every effort to outfit units in traditional camp sites. If you happen to be placed in Middle Creek Field, you are welcome to camp along the edge of the tree line and set up in the woods with a fire pit or bring a fire pit. Or just use the entire lower field area to camp. All the bathrooms, comfort stations, and central showers will be open for the weekend. Camp Fire Wood: If you would like to purchase fire wood. Please do the following: o Email benglueck@yahoo.com and Jimmyk@ptd.net o Crew 1928 is selling wood at $35 a bucket (size is a front load of a backhoe bucket) o Checks payable to Venture Crew 1928 o All orders and correspondence must go through Crew 1928 emails. This year s theme is "Trexler Scout Reservation 90th Anniversary" - Scouting History - STEM Quest"! This largest Cub Scouting event of the year! Keep in mind, when you are assigned a site, there is plenty of room to spread out in and around the woods or camp on the platforms. SITES WILL BE ASSIGNED BY CAMP STAFF. Meals NOT included in fees. Some groups will be camping this @ Hawkeye Camp. Please review the map. Plenty of parking in and around the Hawkeye area. Your Pack and/or Den or Family are welcome to cook in your site for the entire weekend. Or bring your lunch if you are coming Saturday. All Saturday program activities are come and go as you please; your pace and timeline. Rain or Shine
