Billingham PREVIOUS MINUTES It was moved by J Clout and seconded C Holgate that the minutes from the previous AGM held on the 4 th August 2017 and as read at the AGM be accepted. Carried ITEM 1 A. Taylor moved a motion that the W.W.V.V.M.C.Inc annual membership fee be raised to $70.00 starting from the 1 st July 2019. Seconded J. Clay Some discussion was held that maybe it should be raised to $80.00. Due to the wording on the agenda we are unable to change the motion for this year. It will be looked at again next year. Motion was carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS PRESIDENT S REPORT Welcome to the WWVVMC 51 st Annual General Meeting. I can t believe that it has been 12 months since the last AGM was held. At the last AGM I volunteered and was voted unopposed to be the Club s Vice President. A couple of months later I was voted the first lady President for the club in 50 years. I felt at the time, that I had pretty big shoes to fill after Rob stepped down as President, but that feeling soon faded due to the great support from Rob, the committee and members. What a year it has been for my first year as President. I start simply by saying, it doesn t get much better than this. This year I have been overwhelmed by the efficiency and commitment of our Committee and all our members. A huge thank you to the members of the Committee for giving their generous time, their hard work throughout the year and to their wonderful support to myself. They are Bob Maslin (Vice President), Janelle Clout (Secretary), Brian Hanson (Treasurer), Ian Holgate (Events Director), John Rockliff (Club Grounds), Gerald Rainbird (Registration Officer), Sue Kelly (editor), Julie Rockliff (Publicity Officer), David Campbell (Property & Library Officer) and to all their teams who support them. We have also been very honored and privileged to have Phil Hoey (Wagga Wagga Citizen of the Year ) as a member of Our Club, as well as, our Master of Ceremonies for the June Rally. As you may know, the June Rally was run with a Rally feel this year, a different format with more runs, which was well received by members and rally entrants. Everyone who contributed to the Rally with the organizing and running of the Rally, should be highly commended for their efforts. You all know who you are. Another highlight of the year was to see Brian Hanson voted for the Leading Light Trophy. What a wonderful achievement and well deserved. The WWVVMC Inc is known as the family club. We share the hugs and the tears. We have all felt the loss when one of our dear members have passed away. I can say in confidence that we are a family. I am so proud of everyone s accomplishments, the manner in which we conduct ourselves with other clubs and the respect that we show each other throughout the year. So in closing, your support has been wonderful and I thank you all. WAGGA WAGGA VETERAN & VINTAGE MOTOR CLUB INC THE FAMILY CLUB - Page 3

Happy Motoring Annie Taylor President VICE PRESIDENT S REPORT Bob thanked Annie for taking on the President s Office. I have filled in for Annie a couple of times other an easy job. Bob Maslin MAGAZINE EDITOR S REPORT I have continued to enjoy my time as the WWVVMC magazine editor. I haven t had much feed back about how things are presented or things I should include, but I take that as a sign that things are going along OK. One thing that I would really appreciate is more contributions after events that members have participated in. It is easy for me to write up a bit of a story if I have participated myself, but I don t just want to write about things that I have been to. So continue to pass stories on to me. It doesn t have to be a full page, a couple of paragraphs can sometimes be all that is needed, and maybe a photograph or two. I also really appreciate the jokes and contributions that make filling a hole in the magazine much easier. So, continue to email those to the magazine editor please. As you all know the new copier is capable of colour printing, however, I am reluctant to print the magazine in colour due to the extreme cost to the club. The photos do look better in colour, so I would recommend if you have access to the internet that you have the magazine emailed out to you, or look at it online on the club website. You can then print off the events page or carry it with you on your phone or tablet. If there is ever anything of concern or you wish to add to the magazine, please don t hesitate to pass it on to me. Usually any contributions I only run once, so if you have something that needs more than 1 months viewing, please put that information with your request. And if there is anyone who would like to have a go at editor, I would gladly take on an assistant, with the view to them taking over in the future. Or if REFLECTION AUGUST there is someone who would like to do a regular contribution, that can be organised as well. Thanks you to all the helpers who print envelopes, staple and fold every month. Thanks for another great year. Sue Kelly EVENTS DIRECTOR S REPORT Over the past 12 months we have had some great events some well attended and some not so well attended. I have been looking after the events for this stint 2015 to and prior to that for many years from 1975 to which is 43 years. I would like to thank my committee for their support and help in getting the events up and running. Many of these events would not have been possible without my committee support. Also, to other members that have helped along the way thanks. I feel as though I have done my bit for this stage and it is somebody else s turn to throw their hat into the ring. Yours in Vintage Motoring Gerald Rainbird CLUB GROUNDSMAN S REPORT Thanks for the opportunity to be included in the Committee of W.W.V.V.M.C.Inc There have been a few activities in and around the Club Rooms during the pas 12 months. There have been a couple of well supported working bees during the year to keep our clubroom and yard looking good, especially prior to our June Rally. The club has purchased a new Heatlie Trolley BBQ during the year which has proven to be very efficient with good performance. We have conducted a number of minor repairs to Clubrooms and installed a Zippee water heater in the kitchen and led exterior lighting for energy. I would like to thank everyone that assisted in getting these projects completed, very much appreciated. John Rockliff PUBLICITY OFFICER S REPORT Not much to do on the publicity side this year, as we toned done the rally. I helped co-ordinate Fletch again this year. His visit generates good publicity for the club. PROPERTY & LIBRARY OFFICER S REPORT A cushy job. No books checked out. Some new photo s to go on the wall. Still more to come from members.
