The Missouri Department of Transportation is proposing to amend the state's five-year Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). A 7-day public comment period regarding the amendment begins January 2, 2019 and ends January 09, 2019. The proposed November amendment is attached below. Comments may be submitted via telephone to MoDOT's customer service centers at 1-888 ASK MODOT (275-6636), email sent to TPM@modot.mo.gov, or letter addressed to Transportation Planning, Amendment Comments, PO Box 270, Jefferson City, MO 65102. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, the Federal Highway Administration, and the Federal Transit Administration approved the current Statewide Transportation Improvement Program in July 2018. Amendments occur due to unforeseen circumstances, changing conditions, or new opportunities that require a more rapid response than can be provided by an annual update.
