9/11 Downtown Experience This morning we will head Downtown, specifically to the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Upon entering the Museum Pavilionwhich is fully encased by a modernly-designed reflective glass structure- guests will observe the giant Tridents, which were once part of the North Tower. From there, we will descend belowground to the main exhibition space- an area that rests in the original foundations of the structures, making the museum itself, an artifact. Here, guests will be guided through the many rooms that both inform of and commemorate the way this area was before, during and after the attacks. By taking this moving and informative journey, guests will experience the rebirth of a nation after crisis, firsthand; the definition of what it means to be a proud New Yorker and American. 2 P a g e
Following the private docent tour at the 9/11 Museum our guests will have the opportunity to view Ground Zero and see how the area has drastically changed since 9/11, and how it is being reborn. While at Ground Zero, our guests will have the opportunity to visit the 9/11 Memorial. Visitors will see the two enormous waterfalls, where the names of every person who died in the 2001 and 1993 attacks are inscribed into the panels around the powerful reflecting pools. A NYPD officer who was one of the first responders to the World Trade Center on September 11 th will meet our guests and explain New York before September 2001, the day of the attacks and the aftermath. Our guests will have the rare opportunity to chat one on one with the officer. One World Observatory One Word Observatory is the latest and greatest must see attraction when in New York.
