THE PROPERTY The hotel has been converted from two Victorian buildings (previously separate hotels) with substantial later alterations and extensions. It is laid out on basement, ground, first and second floors with rendered and painted elevations under flat roofs.

PUBLIC AREAS A particular feature of the Trecarn are the spacious public areas with two function spaces and a very large restaurant. The hotel s multiple public rooms allow it to compete for non-resident trade. Charming entrance hall with reception and adjoining open plan lounge with seating for 24; Riviera Ballroom; arranged open plan to the entrance hall and with split level seating, dance floor, stage and open plan bar. OUTSIDE The hotel occupies a site of approximately 0.64 hectares (1.57 acres) with parking for four coaches and about ten cars. The mature garden has outside seating in two main areas. LETTING BEDROOMS 126 en suite letting bedrooms of which 19 are located to the ground floor. The 64 letting bedrooms on the western side were (excluding the en suite bathrooms) refurbished in 2010. A further 14 bedrooms benefited from a refurbishment. STAFF ACCOMMODATION There are a total of 12 staff rooms within the hotel.
