2016 Free Weekend at the Pool: May 28th May 30th Offered to ALL Riverton Residents, Family and Friends This holiday weekend we will offer all Riverton Residents the opportunity to try the pool before signing up for a pool membership. The Pool hours will be Sat. 10-9pm, Sun 10-8pm and Mon 10-8pm weather permitting. Offered to all residents in good standing. Residents will be required to sign in upon entering the pool complex. We would like thank everyone that was able to attend the R.C.A. Annual Meeting! The Minutes from the meeting will be in the next newsletter. Basketball/Tennis Court RE-OPENING April 11, 2016 (Weather Permitting) All Riverton Residents, in good standing, that would like a key to the tennis courts can pick one up at the RCA Office. ID with your Riverton address will be required.
Page 4 2016 Children s Spring Party On Saturday, April 2nd the Riverton Community Association held their Annual Children s Spring Party. The Wegman s Zoomobile came and brought zoo animals for the kids to see. The children enjoyed pizza and refreshments and learned about ducks, geckos, millipedes, and parrots. We would like to thank everyone for coming as well as Samantha Robinson and Melanie Chiappone for coordinating and hosting this event. We hope to see everyone again next year and hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did!

There is no parking on any lawn in Riverton. This includes your own lawn. Parking is allowed on paved parking areas and driveways only. Please contact the Sheriff s Department for illegally parked cars in front of a hydrant, in a no parking zone, etc. That all driveways in Riverton must be paved within one year of installation. That if your old roof is replaced and you change the color or material, you do need ARB approval. Page 7

Community Center Rental Do you have a party, meeting or special gathering coming up that you hope not to have to squeeze into your home? Is it the type of event that would be a lot easier if you had a nice place to hold it instead of using your living room? Renting the Community Center could be just the answer. As a resident of Riverton, you can rent this lovely 24 by 48 room with kitchenette for non-profit occasions. The seating capacity is 76 people, with table and chairs provided. A $100 cleaning deposit will hold your date up to one year in advance. The rental cost for Riverton residents is $75 for a total of 6 hours. The cleaning deposit will be returned to you if the room is left in the same manner in which it was rented. Call the RCA office to save your date. The Community News is published bi-monthly. Deadline for all material to be submitted is the 15 th of the month prior to publication. Each Letter to the Editor will be carefully reviewed for content, taste, appropriateness and potential liability. Architectural Review Board Rules & Regulations SWIMMING POOLS No above-ground swimming pool, which cannot be emptied and removed from a lot on a daily basis, will be permitted on any residential lot. In-ground swimming pools will not be permitted on any residential lot. STORAGE OF TRASH CONTAINERS Please note that storing trash in the open is not permitted in our community. To help keep the neighborhood looking nice, please return your trash containers to an out of site location after they have been emptied by your refuse company. Thank you!! You have probably noticed that RCA s Grounds crew has been out cleaning up litter. Things look better already, as spring approaches. Most of what they are finding strewn about seems to be items of trash that were probably put out for collection, but got away in the wind.
