Following the resounding success of our first Odyssey Italia we are thrilled to announce Odyssey Italia II... Your adventure on some of Europe s best rally roads will start from the spectacular Tuscan capital of Florence, a medieval city where the Renaissance period was said to have begun. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982, the buildings of Florence will make the perfect backdrop for your vintage or classic car. Odyssey II will run over 14 days in May 2020; a beautiful time of the year, when you can experience spring in this area of Europe.
PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE * DAY ONE Leave Florence and travel to Elba via lunch in Volterra DAY TWO Enjoy driving the beautiful roads on the island of Elba DAY THREE REST DAY - Elba DAY FOUR Ferry back to Piombino and more time to enjoy the Tuscan countryside stay in the quaint town of Perugia DAY FIVE Leave Perugia and enjoy your final taste of driving the winding Tuscan roads to Civitavecchia for overnight ferry to Cagliari, Sardinia s historic capital. DAY SIX From the ferry port in Cagliari you head to the resort area of Narbolia DAY SEVEN Explore the west coast from Narbolia to Alghero, where we stay for the next two nights DAY EIGHT REST DAY - Alghero DAY NINE We cross the island from Alghero to Santa Teresa Gallura via Isola Maddalena DAY TEN Short ferry from Santa Teresa Gallura to Bonifacio, overnight in Porto Vecchio DAY ELEVEN Porto Vecchio to Bastia DAY TWELVE Bastia to Calvi via stunning roads of Nord Corse DAY THIRTEEN REST DAY - Calvi DAY FOURTEEN Calvi to Ajaccio via the stunning west coast roads with a gala dinner to finish the event *All details are provisional at the time of going to print.

ODYSSEY ITALIA II You arrive in Cagliari after a relaxed night and drive a couple of regularity sections as you explore the southern area of the island. This will be our first experience in this part of Sardinia. Following a traditional lunch, you continue to your next overnight destination, in the resort of Narbolia at the end of Day Six. The first day takes you to the luxury island of Elba, where you will spend the first three nights. You stop for lunch on the way, in the quaint Tuscan village of Volterra with a couple of regularities en route. A rest day on the island gives you the opportunity to experience stunning Elba. A lie on a sunbed around the pool, a visit to Napoleon s house or for the more adventurous, a hike through the countryside, the choice will be yours. Day Seven is a day of exploring as you drive the west coast to the Sardinian city of Alghero. You will also get to enjoy a few circuits of Autodromo di Mores; great fun. Encircled by ancient walls, Alghero is famous for its cobble-stoned centre. The Catalan Gothic buildings include the Cattedrale di Santa Maria, a beautiful building with an imposing bell tower. You can enjoy a wander around the old town before dinner in the hotel tonight but as tomorrow is a rest day, maybe you could enjoy the old town tomorrow. Hopefully, there won t be too much to see to on the car and you can enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by Sardinia at its best. Back on the road on Day Nine and you cross the island to Santa Teresa Gallura with a trip to Isola Maddalena on the way. You will jump on a 10-minute ferry crossing and enjoy a regularity section that circumnavigates the whole island; the views are breath taking. Back on the mainland you have your final night in Sardinia before we head to Corsica tomorrow.
RALLY ROUND Driving Adventures A short ferry crossing and on Day Ten you arrive in Corsica. If you competed in Odyssey Italia in 2016, you will understand why we have decided to finish the event here. The roads and views are simply stunning and cannot be beaten. You will arrive in Bonifacio to fabulous cliff views and with the medieval Citadel looming above your heads. The Citadel was most recently used as an administration centre for the Foreign Legion but today is more of a museum. A few more regularity sections lead us to a gourmet lunch in the historic walled town of Sartene and then you will arrive in the pretty town of Porto Vecchio for your overnight stay. Day Eleven and you travel from Porto Vecchio to the Bastia area experiencing more stunning roads that hug the coast line; this area is a joy for the route designer and you can see why so many World and European Championship rallies have been held here. The coast line is dotted with one panoramic view after another so make sure you have that camera handy. You will overnight in a luxury hotel in the Bastia area tonight.

ODYSSEY ITALIA II From Bastia, with at least three regularities for you, we drive to the beautiful coastal town of Calvi. The roads today take you to Nord Corse, with views you just have to keep stopping to admire. They twist and turn with the countryside giving glimpses of the bright blue sea through cracks in the rocks. The event s relaxed road timing will give you the time to stop, enjoy and take photographs. You will stay in Calvi for two nights giving you time to explore the area and there is a lot to see. The harbour area has some fabulous restaurants for you to enjoy on your rest day. Like Bonifacio it also has a Citadel perched on the cliffs but this one is still in use as the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment of the French Foreign Legion is based here. According to legend, Christopher Columbus supposedly came from Calvi, which at the time was part of the Genoese Empire. Because the oftensubversive elements of the island, at this time, gave its inhabitants a bad reputation, he would have been expected to mask his exact birthplace.
RALLY ROUND Driving Adventures As Day Fourteen is the final day of the event, you will drive the most spectacular of all Corsican roads today. We have saved the best until last. The drive through the Calanques de Piana is like no other and if you want, you can park up to get closer to the view. A real treat for you today as we enjoy a lunch at the Casabianca restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. A few more regularity sections to sort out the winners and then you arrive at your final destination; Ajaccio. A gala dinner is planned to award those prizes and a sumptuous meal will be enjoyed by all.
