Back in 2001 when it was created by José Andreani, 21 cars were at the start of what was just a regularity challenge. Since then, it kept on evolving and it is now welcoming more than 200 contenders. The rally is now known as one of the world s most iconic historic races and its core values are passion, conviviality and sportivity.

There is no better proof of this than the ever growing success of the rally each year. How can one be insensitive to the quality and rarity of the cars engaged on these mythical roads that have always been a source of dreams and passion? From Porto-Vecchio s Gulf to the UNESCO world heritage village of La Porta, Piana s rocky inlets and the natural reserve of Scandola with its tourmented cliffs, Corsica remains one of the most beautiful mediterranean venues. Driving pleasures as well as discoveries will be permanent. A small semantic reminder VHC (Véhicule Historique de Compétition, aka Historic Racing Vehicle) : - The crew s position is determined by the time realized in the special stages. VHRS (Véhicule Historique de Régularité Sportive, aka Historic Sports Regularity Vehicle) : - Average speeds are determined at the beginning of a special stage. There are three different average speeds : high, intermediate, low. The goal is be as close from the average speed as possible. Beyond the competition, this challenge is also known to be a week dedicated to sharing and pleasure. It is offering a true celebration of automotive competition thanks to the unity between the competitors and a passionate audience. Should you be a rookie or used to this competition, the Tour de Corse Historique is always an adventure. The exclusive route will pay hommage to the races that took place between the 60s and the 80s. More than ever, this amazing field will provide loads of fun for men and machines. The rally will take place from October 8th to October 13th and nothing would be possible without the precious and unquestionable support of the corsican cities, companies and people, as well as the organization s team and the race officials. For them, these five days filled with this unique atmosphere created by the spectators, competitors and inhabitants are the priceless reward of a year s hard work. They represent five hundred more people. Three hundred and eighty officials are involved in the race to make sure that all goes without any incident. Let us not forget the rallye partners, the media and thousands of visitors that want to attend the race. As a consequence, the Tour de Corse Historique manages to mobilize more than two thousand five hundred people on the Island, most of which want to enjoy the race, but also to discover Corsica and its traditions during an entire week. During this week, thirty cities and villages benefit from the activity and they live according to the rythm of the rally. This crowd brought by the Tour de Corse Historique is a serious asset to bring value to the Corsican touristic, natural and cultural heritage. For instance, Porto s stage arrival is always bringing emotion because of its thrilling beauty. The race is the source of hundreds of thousands of euros of economic activity.

From Monday, October 8th to Saturday, October 13th, the Tour de Corse Historique will once again push the pilots to their limits, but the race will again and mainly focus on the thrill of driving!

A four days competition : a total of 840km (530mi) for the crews with 4 special stages a day on average. A closing ceremony will conclude the week in the most enjoyable way.

From Monday, October 8th to Saturday, October 13th, the Tour de Corse Historique will once again push the pilots to their limits, but the race will again and mainly focus on the thrill of driving! On the agenda : An unprecedented route following some of the legendary special stages from the Tour de Corse. A shakedown to put the pilots and machines into condition.
