New Philadelphia High School Instrumental Music Department Dear Directors, October 8, 2018 Plans are being finalized for the 43rd annual New Philadelphia High School Marching Quaker Field Competition. I want to thank you for attending this year's show. We have a great group of 18 bands ready to compete one final time before State! If this is the first time you have been to our show, welcome and if you've supported our show before, welcome back! Thank you for choosing our event, we believe our stadium is a wonderful site for you to conclude your regular OMEA season! With this email, I have also attached a schedule, a site map and a few FAQ s Our band website is full of information for you including pictures to help you be familiar with the site before you arrive. Check it out sometime the next couple weeks as you make final plans to come to our show. Event FAQ s Admission: $7.00 adults / $5.00 students, senior citizens / preschool free Gates Open: 3pm Wrist bands: When you go to director s check in at the entrance to bus parking on top of the hill you will receive wristbands for the number of marchers indicated on the OMEA web site +25. You will not be able to receive more wrist bands on the day of the show. Everyone entering the stadium with your band will need a wrist band. Restrooms: Located in the park and stadium. Indicated on the site map. J Traffic patterns / Field enter / exit: Indicated on your site map. slight change in enter from passed years. Awards: At the conclusion of the MQB performance, (approx. 9:30pm) I do not add an extra break, I prefer to Get on with awards in a timely manner. Medical Emergencies: A mobile EMS unit will be on hand throughout the competition. Concession Stand: Will open at 3pm along with the gates.
